Re: This server is awesome

Glad that you like it here. When this thing started a long ass time ago a few of us admins all had the same attitude and it became the culture that has remained thanks to Tona and Trench especially. There was a group of people that became friends because of a game....a escape from the real life stuf...

Re: What do you do for a living?

I am a Journeyman Tool and Die maker since 1999. There is a 100% chance if you live in the US or Canada that you have purchased something that has gone through a machine tool I was involved with. I can't really think of an industry that I've not made something for honestly...I've made bone taps long...

Re: TV Shows

Band of Brothers is the single best thing ever "produced" on film. I watched on HBO on friday nights when it debuted..and have been speechless since. I watch deadliest catch....Ozark is great but I also used to live in the Ozarks on a huge family farm in the 70's so... Recently did formula...

Tool does an excellent cover of no quarter...and I don't like covers AND it's Led Zepplin...but diligence is due there. I'm a long time Tool fan, saw them small stage Lallapalooza 2 1995 that was epic show and time.... anyway my laptop is gonna suck for playing so getting old tower from kid and movi...

This vid was made when BF3 was maybe a month or 2 old...Really a bunch of EA117 guys doing stuff we couldn't do with original BF game. Getting multiple players in vehicles to get camera shots of being idiots in 2005 was cutting edge stuff. Good times from old timers. ;)

Hmm..that looks like it might be pretty decent actually. I could see that being worth value to someone who does try to take care of everything for themselves....especially to help with year specific information when it would come to TSB's ....Technical service bulletins...which are not really a reca...

Since the previous post.. Re: I'm going to lift my jeep

yes Jay.. actually 6061 T-6. The "T" designation is that it's been tempered and a typical grade for most uses. Catalogs call it "Aircraft grade aluminum" and that makes me chuckle every time I read it somewhere. Currently in my possession I have exactly the Items pictured below. ...

Re: Snowmaggeddon 2014 rescue video I made

Nighty you know I'm a Steelers fan right?? Black and yellow?? ;) I would not own a yellow, bright green, or purple colored car typically......but some vehicles are supposed to be a odd or loud color. I am also particular about the hues...I would not own a green jeep like the color above...but I appr...

Snowmaggeddon 2014 rescue video I made

Friend of mine in a 2013 Jeep Rubicon went out by himself and got buried in a hole....just as the biggest snowstorm in decades was heading in. So me and a couple buddies (who also have built jeeps, but they brought trucks) went to go rescue our pal in distress. The guys drinking beer were not drivin...

Re: Battlefield 4, what do you think?

gameplay is awesome. the launch has been a debacle. I would give it a 4 out of 10 only because the time I have played has been like a crap shoot...I see soo much potential and then it all crashes and suddenly I'm not playing. No friggen way I will buy a DLC pack considering what I have got for my in...

Re: I'm going to lift my jeep

I actually already have a 1 inch body lift on my Jeep currently nighty. I have exactly 8 bolts that hold the tub to the frame so keeping them close is smart...especially in the rustbelt. ;) jay I believe that your 3 link to 4 link is rear and will be a quality upgrade if your going to go in the dire...

so my budget was cut in 1/2 practically. :P I will be doing this build over the course of this winter so don't get excited. I'm going to try to keep a real bare bones version here with more generic terms so that the people who don't get "into" vehicles outside of getting them from A to B c...

I'm going to lift my jeep

My factory size/style 31inch Goodyear MTR tires are worn. I am going to install 33 inch MTRs with Kevlar sidewalls before spring. I could go with a 35 inch, or even a 37 tire with my axles....but I would need a re-gear, high line front fenders, brakes, and probably steering and new locking different...

Re: I expect to see this done soon to yours...

So that's what happens when ya put a big bad engine in a lawnmower... ;) jeeps weigh like 3,000 lbs give or take....it's pretty common to see them at sand drags and what not. I can't classify that as a "jeep" though as it does not seem to have a front driveshaft and therefore is only 2WD. ...

make sure all your CPU's are not "parked" I did this today and found that 3 were "parked" (I believe based on some power save setting somewhere) and once I un-parked them it was like night and day as far as playability.....and I'm betting it would have not crashed during single p...

Re: GPU error/crashes

did you try doing a repair install through origin since you changed your settings? go to origin, and somewhere in the options is a repair install. if it's any consolation my puter and vid card struggle with bf4 also...but the fact is there is a crapload of buggy-ness with practically everything BF4 ...
