Define "in defense of flag"

So, I want to get a ruling on what this phrase means regarding c4 around CTF flags. My understanding is you're not allowed to c4 the flag area so that someone can't get to the flag to take it. Makes good sense. Give people a chance to get it and go. I was recently admonished on Lost Village because ...

Re: Player -flea- Cheating

Thank you, Trench. I, for one, will not miss him. Now, if only someone would break a couple of Payne's fingers... ;-)

Re: Player -flea- Cheating

I think -flea- has accuracy enhancement. I accused T-bone of the same thing a long while ago, as his accuracy while running with a PK, as well as in a T-72 was uncanny and unmatched. His was set to second shot kill. Never failed. I haven't bitched about flea. When I see him on the server, I simply l...

They're all good...even that Gulf War map...Coastal hammer.

Any way to have a different rotation even/odd days, or maybe weekends?

Re: Server is rarely over 50% full. What Gives?

Back to some degree of serious...from what I've seen, it's the map rotation driving many away. Example. I LOVE Bocage day 2, but CONSISTENTLY half or more players drop out switching from Al Nas. I don't know if it's that they're missing the maps or just don't like it, but my suggestion is to change ...

Re: Team Switching

Hmmmm....where have I heard this all before? Oh, wait... .;-) Reasons are reasons. I like Swanny's reply...if it's disruptive, it's a no-no.....switching teams remains a risk you take, based on the outcome of your choice to do so. IOW, if you catch a ban..you earned it...DAMHIK...;-) Lately, I ONLY ...

Re: sniping

They took it away because the mod made it more...demonic.. ;-) Yeah, the game's so weird...sometimes you don't miss me, others you can't hit me... ;-) I still wonder about those boys with the magic PKs...the ones that don't miss you while both of you are bouncing and running around. Gotta find their...

Re: WTF NOW?

IANYF, Look, this has gone way beyond the original issue. My goal is no longer to get the ban lifted. You did what you did and you had your reasons. My goal at this point is to work together to find a resolution to the remaining issue, the overall welfare of the server, it's users and gameplay. To p...

Re: WTF NOW?

I have not brought other admins into this. They have responded on their own. If you've been getting any responses on my part, they weren't because of any action I've taken, beyond getting on TS last night and asking Pinhead WTF happened. "Generally, I warn players 1st BUT knowing you as a regul...

Excuse me, but THIS is the rule. Can we grenade spam? Yes, this is also considered poor sportsmanship and frowned on thou THIS is the EXAMPLE given in the FAQ Question--Can we grenade spam (throwing unlimited grenades while located next to an ammo box). Answer--Yes. You want to make it a RULE not to...

And, banning for MAKING RULES UP says a lot as well. I said "sorry" AND I quit doing it, so WTF IS THE PROBLEM HERE? I say I did NOTHING AGAINST THE RULES, not even 'unsportsmanlike" behavior. It was momentary, whimsical, and quiclly ended. WTF ARE RULES FOR IF ADMINs CAN BAN PEOPLE A...

Alot of baserape goes on very frequently when there isn't an admin online, such as now. Ceasarthefifth, and JingleMyBalls, who seems to be a regular baseraper and foulmouth over chat, are the most prominent ones. I'd vote to create a "tard of the week" thread, so we can post who these tar...

Thanks, Fluffy! Do what you want if Blue has several flags...otherwise, we need your help more on the ground.. ;-)

Nothing makes me want to switch teams more than when 10 min into the game I''m the only one capping flags. It makes my efforts feel totally useless.

Live long? Fluffy? He's one of the hardest-to-kill bastards there are! (said lovingly, Fluffy! ;-). Hogging team resources

All, There's been what I consider a disturbing trend by some players to "confiscate" team resources for "personal" use that I have found disturbing, and I wanted to bring it up for discussion. Specifically, some players (Cro Cop, Fluffy kitten, some others) have taken to grabbing...

I bought it. I can't install on primary system because it's still XP, so I installed on my W510 (work) Thinkpad w/12GB RAM and 128GB SSD. It totally sucks. I've now been on 3 times. have 0 kills. The lag is so bad it's basically unplayable. You'll find me on the DC server. Enjoy your new toys all.. ...

Re: BF3 Forum

Sure, you can setup a custom server and define the kits. The problem is..without "direct" support for this in the game (some kind of global in-game indicator, perhaps a special server icon) you won't be able to find said server in the server list. I'm suggesting a "no unlocks allowed ...
