Re: Ping problem
I did a traceroute of Moongamers. My ping there is the same (+/- 2 or 3). It did not show me going through gtt-gw.ip4.tinet.net [173.241.130.138].

Re: Ping problem
8.12.64.130 is EA117.... Like I said Moongamers and =SoC= Chaos Phillies are quite fine. HKHP El Alamein (CD/ORIGIN) and Kaskingo - El Al - DC (Stats) *AKA DC bot server* are fine as well. It is something specific that happens to EA117. I don't know if it is an Admin logging in by remote? After all ...

Re: Ping problem
Makes no since. When I first joined I was fine.
Also from what I can find is that the router causing the high ping is in Chicago, Illinois. This seem quite far to go since EA117 is in Kansas from what I can find. Hopefully other will do a tracert.

Re: Ping problem
I'm on the west coast. It did go back norm about 8:12PM west coast time. About 4 or 5 players other players had there pings drop as well. ))AhDaHua(( was one of the players effected. His ping dropped fron 150-153 down to 50-53. Also of note. The drop of ping is not instantly. It takes about 1 or 2 m...

Re: Ping problem
PC is Win 7. High ping is happening with old EA and new patched .exe. I get the same 175 to 180 high ping from EA117 by Command Prompt using Ping 8.12.64.130. So I know the exe has nothing to do with it. I also get the same thing if I ping from another computer in the house via Command Prompt ping. ...

Ping problem
Ever since the new master server fix has gone live I've had problems with my ping. It starts at my norm 78 to 83 but soon climbs to 180 an will hold there for 15 to 30 min. This high ping makes any infantry map unplayable. I have tired router/modem/computer restarts. They have no efffect. EA117 is t...

Re: That F'ing Bala
Still hasn't learned.... Saturday he was camping US base on Gazla with Mig 29. I found him over base as I was going to re-load some misslies so I tried to down him with the 20mm but he still went after the runway after I started shooting at him. I don't know if I, Stinger from ground or death bubble...

Re: <HDD> Nick Fury is trying to call team wounding on other
I wasn't there for what Yul Brynner is posting about but I have seen <HDD> Nick Fury TW other players. He also has bad habit of hijacking vehicles that are being used for defence like Humvees.

Questionable player DABR.
I'm making this post for player IrishLincon as he felt that signing up wouldn't be worth it as he belived that the matter would not be looked into but since I already have signed up I told him I would for him. IrishLincon is unhapply with DABR ability to kill with the Saiga 12 at extreme rage. Killi...

Seen this too.
I never had a crash prob tell about the time Win 7 SP1 came out. The more mods the game has to load the crash become more likey.

Re: FIX: Crash in BF1942.EXE when map is loading.
Yes I did use quotes around the name but it gave an error.
Yes every day I get the "An installed file with the same ID was found. Replace it? (Yes/No)" option. I replace it and things work fine. If I don't run it again I'm back to crashes.

Re: FIX: Crash in BF1942.EXE when map is loading.
I tried the fix. I ran in to a prob right away. The files name was too long. *In the attachment it is "Battlefield 1942 FaultTolerantHeap shim.sdb" so I cut it down to "BF1942_shim.sdb"* Next it seems I have to run the file every day. I guess not everything the shim.sdb dose is n...
