Request from Admin
Sorry to put this here but the "contact us" is disabled. I'm not banned or anything. I would just like to request access for my ip of 74.192.101.40. Thank you and I'm looking forward to playing some DC.

Unable to connect
Hey Gentlemen,
I'm not sure why, but I'm blocked from ever connecting to the server. I don't believe I've done anything to be blocked from the server. I would be thankful for you help in figuring out this issue. Thanks!

Re: Use Origin BF1942 to play on CD version servers: How-to
Thank you so much for posting this. It worked perfectly! I haven't been able to play in about 6 months so this was a real treat. Look forward to playing again.

Re: Multiple Monitors and BF1942
Swodi, I know for playing BF2, it looks awesome. Just some background...My system is Win 7 and has two PCIe slots but doesn't support Crossfire, only SLI. I bought a Radeon 6850 to do Eyefinity. Unfortunately I have not had the money to purchase an Active Display Port to DVI/VGA adapter (A must for ...

Re: Multiple Monitors and BF1942
Boon, It's not hard to do. Obviously the biggest expense is the monitors. I ended up getting some free LCD's and have mine set up. For gaming, I'm using a little app called SoftTH. It's a software version of the Matrox Triple Head 2 Go. If I can get a Display Port to VGA or active DVI adapter, I can...

Multiple Monitors and BF1942
I thought I'd post this before I completely get my setup running. I'm running 3 monitors and am about to go full blown Eyefinity (right now just using SoftTH). Is PB kicking for these setups. Just a note, I have not been able to get BF1942 to run properly with SoftTH. If anyone can assist, I'd great...

"Next time you might wanna spend the extra money on a better lawyer and plea it down to house arrest." No. Unfortunately due to the job situation I had to move (again) and had no internet. :( Thank you c0loNeL. I will apply shortly as I really enjoy the good people that play on this server.

Temporary Admins
Sorry if this is posted in the wrong section. I was just wondering if the whole "temp Admin" thing is still going on? Unfortunately I was away for about 3 months and missed it. Congrats to those who were selected. I think some fine choices were made (mainly TOG Whirly!) :) Sorry if I'm bea...

Console commands
Hey all, I had a quick question about console commands. Which do you think are some of the best console commands for the average player? I'm not very familiar with the commands (I do know about ptk and ftk). I see a lot of lwcamp and some other weird ones but they don't seem to come necessarily from...

I've had issues with CANADA-MAN before. TK'ing, disruptive play and being just a general asshat. Just an FYI for future forum users.

DC Final Maps
Once again I am very thankful that we now have some new maps to play. And once again a big thank you goes out to all that made that possible. I do have one question though, will the new DCF maps make it into the standard rotation? I know that several admins have injected them into the rotation when ...

Re: DC final maps
Thank too everyone who helped get these maps running on EA 117. I can't tell you how much fun I had playing these when there were more servers out there. It seems there is only one good DC server now so having these maps just makes it better. Thanks again everyone. Warm Regards, Jesse aka: Slagothor

Re: DC final maps
Payne, Although I would want to check with a known admin, according to Simon from the first post, those maps are already loaded on the server. We would need each player to download DCX (I believe) in order to fully play on the server. If I'm incorrect in this assumption, please anyone feel free to c...

Re: Admin needed for early morning hours
Whirley,
I've played DC with you long enough, I think you would do a good job.
Oh, I thought Nightstalker was an admin too! LOL. Also thought RoLnRoCk was one at some point. I guess they just always seemed that they followed the rules.

Re: Admin needed for early morning hours
I really like the idea of just being able to warn someone and then kick them IF NEEDED. To be honest, I wouldn't wish it on anyone to have to admin. I figure that a few of the regulars would make an outstanding semi-admin(TM) when you guys are counting sheep. Obviously much oversight is required but...

Admin needed for early morning hours
To all the admins offering their time to keep the game play going well, thank you. Now on to my topic. I've been playing in the wee early hours lately as my schedule is out of whack. I've noticed that all the smacktards are hopping in and I think they know that there usually aren't any admins on dur...

Re: wow, that sucks
Wow, that is horrible. I don't mean to be disrespectful, but what I would like to know is "what were the weather conditions like?". I used to love to go stand in the rain and watch thunderstorms when I was younger until I say a PBS special on lightning and it scared the beejesus out of me....
