Re: Player -flea- Cheating

I hear ya Trench. I see it as the server is a body, and pain generates attention on an issue. Someone like Basrah is lethal with the RPG...freakishly so, but we're all used to it (like a bum knee) that we just deal with it and adapt and figure out ways to avoid or kill him. Or simply fall prey to hi...

Re: Player -flea- Cheating

I'd like to officially NOT report Payne for anything. I feel that a good player ought to be able to play. Man up and learn how to avoid or kill them I say.

If they're hacking, ban their arse.

Re: Player -flea- Cheating

If you'd stayed, you'd have witnessed Payne going 28-1 in Twin Rivers. The most egregious ratio of the night by my accounting.

Re: Player -flea- Cheating

During one of the DABR discussions I think one of the EA117 admins summarized it well, although I'm paraphrasing, to say "Why would an NBA player drive downtown just to disrupt the street court games by easily & constantly dunking on everyone and then leaving." Maybe because they're n...

Re: C4 on flag...how close is too close????????

Haven, how are you planting mines and then switching to C4? Is that a loadout that I never noticed or the weapon switch glitch? RPG and SMAW kits both have mines AND C4 on Al Nas. It's a no brainer if I go into full cat crazy defense mode. I can lay deterence/prevention mines, destroy vehicles with...

Re: C4 on flag...how close is too close????????

Ok, got it! Still doesn't seem right. I'll just hang in the tower and as I see Cheese rolling up I'll be ready to throw the C4 right after he touches the flag. ;) Thanks! And therein lies the game. Stationary targets are often easy pickings, but diligent defense is a sure way to foil initial straig...

Re: C4 on flag...how close is too close????????

If it is then you might as well sit in the tower next to the flag and as soon as it's being picked up, throw C4 so it doesn't get far. Yup. Many do. When I'm playing on red, I plant my mines in a diamond formation® (patent pending) so that when Cheese rolls up in the spawn truck, he cannot pull up ...

Re: Player -flea- Cheating

I've been bested by flea many a time, and I've gotten him a couple of times. I've seen some crazy accurate shooting, but nothing I couldn't ascribe to luck or just being good. But that is just my experience, I haven't had him pop up behind me in a room that I had just cleared, if that has in fact ha...

Re: Ford Escape

I had no idea they did the battery swap. Amazing. Granted, you pay for it, but if you're driving a Model S, I imagine that $60-80 is worth the hour saved. :) 23 gallons was a bit cheeky. That Audi likely gets 2x the range from that tank of gas as the Tesla, and...there is the disadvantage that gas p...

Re: Ford Escape

I wonder if it would be possible to actually have a removeable battery that can come out quickly and be replaced in the same amount of time as normal refueling for a gas vehicle? I don't know if there are safety issues that would be insurmountable, and hence the need to recharge. Turbo charging seem...

Re: Ford Escape

Hehe, I've had this Escape since middle of 2011. Bought it used and its still chugging a long. It's paid off and so hopefully keeps working out for another couple of years, or longer. It is a bit of a commuter vehicle, but I really do enjoy being a bit higher up on the road than a car. I guess I pos...

Re: dead comp = no playing.

Hav3n- Yes, the AMD FM2 cpu is what I believe they call an APU. Radeon graphics built in. From what I have read it should provide very nice graphics for my needs. Certainly better than what I was using by a long shot. With my old graphics card I played mostly by listening because I couldn't see ver...

Appears to be "Dads comp build" with no apostrophe. I don't know my computer builds that well, but seems like a fine budget machine. Will you need GPU at least though? Probably not a very powerful one for DC, but certainly something, unless that processor/motherboard can do graphics? I run...

Re: Ford Escape

Oh, certainly true about more efficiency. I wanted something a bit larger than the Corolla I was in, and I love being taller on the road, but I get that I could be even more efficient if I stayed in a sedan model. Perhaps my next car will be a Fusion hybrid or something. We'll see. Granted, some of ...

Re: Ford Escape

Lol, n1. Yeah, when I was looking for a car, I had been driving a '95 Corolla and didn't want to drop mpg about 10, so I went with the hybrid. I've basically broken even on the added cost of the hybrid vs. the V6 or other normal options. So now I'm just saving everytime at the pump. Thing even has a...
