Re: Mod Requests

I appreciate everyone's input, I really do. I'm just trying to freshen things up. No one is going to hurt my feelings. A decades-long marriage to the same woman, enlarged prostate, crepe skin, and a lack of interest in porn have drained what little pride I had left after my second colonoscopy. This...

Re: Mod Requests

New Berlin. I can live with Blue's new flag location. Its much like the Axis base now. Alley spawn has to go. Not digging the weapon caches of each others guns. Team specific spec ops, 50 cals, and scorpions would be sweet though. Control point in E5 to make it like the new stali. Give some heavy ar...

Re: Mod Requests

rye and tona, I approve of Carbombgrad . Suggestions: - Add an EE9 to E7. This will promote usage of that portion of the map and give us something extra to play with. EE9 is a slow shooter but still a tank. Give it a respawn time of a few minutes if it is destroyed to discourage reckless use. - If y...

Re: Mod Requests

rye I mean this in the friendliest manner possible... I have no use for carbombs. I find it funny that LV traded helis for carbombs. I'm going to continue to ridicule you for wanting to replace everything with carbombs. In fact, instead of flagpoles in CTF, you should put the flags in the trunks of ...

Re: Christina

Trench I've played this game since it was released and I can honestly say I can likely count on one hand how many times I've thought a regular player has needed a ban. Christina is one of them. I give the benefit of the doubt that sometimes people bring life stress into the game and act out, but are...

Re: Respecting other Battlefield 1942 servers

I thought we were talking about another DC server. I just read this thread in full and see its in reference to a 42 server. A lot of players only play one or the other or you get players that play both. DC is this random animal that 42 players every hug every now and then. I think it would be less ...

Ah young rye, One must first know of the glitch BEFORE they can use it to discover said barbed wire. And without barbed wire: *player accidentally/intentionally glitches* "HEY LOOK WHAT I FOUND!" *others come explore**admin required to get them out* With barbed wire: *player accidentally/i...

Re: Mod Requests

Hangars can be breached on 1942 maps. I don't want to openly discuss here how to do these things though.
Youtube surely has some videos if you're curious, or we can jump on an empty server one night and I can show you.

Re: Mod Requests

Yeah Berlin has a few. Like I said, this isn't a problem anymore but it couldn't hurt to barb wire it up. Hangars on af maps too.

Re: Respecting other Battlefield 1942 servers

I posted a recruitment thread at Moon very similar to the one you allowed me to post here Trench. I received no flak for it. I think there is definitely a delicate and respectful approach to it, but with the game and all its mods either dead or on life support it doesn't hurt to try and band together.

Re: Battle Zeppelin Beta

I've been in touch with Squirrel over at Moon. We were talking about trying to set a night to get a small crowd in playing the new Zepplin maps.
Would any of you guys be interested if we tried to set up an event date?

Well the appreciation is mutual Trench.
Just know that if the server ever does feel a financial pinch, there are those of us who would gladly step up.
Thank you to all those involved in keeping our little corner of cyberspace around!

Re: Server Map Rotation

I would say you are 100% right pistol. Nas is probably the best seeding map on the server. What I am requesting is that once the population has already been built, we try some lesser played large maps. And as stated before, if the majority does not like the big map popping up, it can be voted out. R...

Re: Server Map Rotation

Not so much a rotation request but... If the trend continues with a good player base around 8:00 central, could the admin team place some of the lesser played maps in rotation to suite the increase in pop? First light (cq and ctf), cornered, bragg, easting, medina (cq), phillipines, britain ctf... I...

Re: Mod Requests

Holy delayed response.... Crash, Nib was a problem at the time of posting that. He would grab the flag on CTF and hide in the crates when no admin were on. Admin presence significantly increased with Rye's glorious return and now the server has a bouncer at the door but eliminating the chance for an...
