It seems pretty secure. I used PayPal to buy my copy of the collection and once I was was done paying I was directed to a new page where I was given the Steam activation codes for the games.

You're right! I only see 2GB 7070s when I do a search. You'll be good to go with the 2GB version but if you really want a 3 GB card then spend a little extra and get the 7950.
