Note that it is possible that routers on the U-verse Network can be configured not to reply to ICMP requests thus the time outs. That would leave gtt-gw.ip4.tinet.net as the bottleneck.

I also noticed this same behavior and I am in the east coast. My ping jumped from 50 or so to 160.

I have a problem when a player *abuses* Lada's purpose. If all you are going to do is run over people in enemy main base and wont detonate the Lada then I'll give a warning and next a kick. This is exactly what happened the other day in Gazala. Cant remember player's name but he apologized.

Another loooong shot: look to see if you have chrome extensions installed. If you do, disable all of them and see if one of them is creating that issue. Also, Youtube supports HTML5 so in a way no need for Flash.
