Corrupt file/memory

I keep getting kick cause its saying Corrupt file/memory, anyone else getting this and is there a fix?

Are you running Fraps? I read in other places that may have something to do with it - try turning it off. If not, I would try updating PB, if that doesn't work, reinstall PB. There is a thread in here on how to do that.

oddd, something could have been accidentally deleted? or perhaps, your AV or AntiSpy deleted a file thinking it a bad guy?

hard to say.... try reinstalling though... prolly the best way

I re-installed PB, did a Mem test all came out good, i dont have fraps, hmm very frustrating, i wonder what it could be, this just started like i week ago !!

K, i went and bought the game, re-installed everything including PB, updated everything and iam still getting this Corrupt file/memory(81006), anyone have any clue what the problem is?

I've no clue, but if it were me I'd try System Restore first cause it's easy. But I'm guessing it's hardware related.

It's July after all which means heat, heat, heat. Could be your CPU or GPU is overheating. Or your hard drive is on the way out. Could even be a PSU.

If System Restore doesn't fix your problem I would suggest stressing your system. Hopefully you can duplicate the problem and figure it out from there.

Of the top of my head, Prime 95 for your CPU (Orthos for Multi Core). Ati Tool for your GPU. It should even work with a Nvidia card. Memtest for your memory. There are others...

#120000s - Game Hook
#130000s - Attempted PunkBuster Hack

I'm not saying you are, just saying that seems to be what it's reporting.

No iam not using a no/cd crack , iam using the cd that came with the game, i re-installed the game, re-installed PB. But someone told me to update PB manually , so iam gonna try that and see if it helps, thanks for ur help !
