Wrong Version???

Guys, I'm running 1.61b, is the server on a different version? Makes me wonder... I get this on a lot of servers for some reason...

If you are unable to play on the server and you have patch 1.61b installed, then I recommend that you uninstall your Battlefield series and reinstall the whole series and then place each patch in order. Some people may tell you to just uninstall your DC mod and reinstall it and the patches but I personally would go with uninstalling the whole series and starting over from the beginning.

After you install your BF series, but before you install DC or any other mod, download and install these patches.

Depending on how old your version of the game CD you have is, you may need to install 3 patches in total.

I have listed them below

Patch 1.45 to 1.5 - Download (Install 1st, if needed)

Patch 1.6.19 - Download (Install 2nd)

Patch 1.6 to 1.61b - Download (Install 3rd)

After you have installed those patches, you will need to install DC, DC Final, etc...

Isn't there just a 1.6.19 and then a 1.61b? You've got a lot of steps in there.

The extra patch depends on when you bought your BF CD, I think that if it's pre 2006 then you would need to install the extra patch because it was not included in the game.
