Maps crash at 40% loaded

Got a new computer with better hardware specs than my old computer with windows vista home premium. I frequently crash when maps load at around 40% loaded it happens about 4 out of every 5 times i load a map in multiplayer but never happens in single player. When i do successfully load a map on Multiplayer the load time is less than 10 seconds, this never use to happen on my old computer that was using windows xp. Heres the problem signature, Ive also reinstalled the game 2 times and downloaded all patches and all the expansions installed any ideas leme know.

It's Windows Vista, regardless of what version your running, your going to get those map load crashes. The primary problem is that BF was not made for Vista and also that well, it's Windows Vista!! I am running Vista 32 but and I get a map crash every 2-3 maps, I've learned to deal with it though. From what I've heard and looked up, there wont be any support for Vista for BF 1942.

Only thing I can suggest is running BF in XP compatibility under the properties menu on your BF/DC shortcut.

Also, make sure your computer is running Vista SP1 & SP2, I don't think the service packs are included in the auto updates anymore.

I crash on a few maps. I'm running Vista Ultimate (32 bit)

It's mostly the first map that tries to load. BF has never crashed during a map only when loading.
The most annoying part is you'll sometimes get a "CD Key In Use" error trying to join the server again.

A minor inconvenience...but not a deal breaker.
