Hey cats and kittens, time to buy a new laptop.

I've purchased my last couple from Dell and planned to do so again, but I figured it made sense to get a few other opinions first.

It's a hog kona - the bf3, and there are newer games already that are pushing cpu's/gpu's more than bf3.... I would put as much as you can in the video card and cpu - if will be a bit more - but you can get the i7 I think you'll be much happier/longer... And I'd for sure do as much as you can on a laptop with the video card - even if ya got to wait a month or two longer for the difference in price - I think it will take you longer to 'out grow' it...

Just my two cents - coming from someone that's right on the edge of needing to upgrade already...

(I have a desktop, quad core 3.2, gtx465 (1gb), 8gb ram) and play with settings between low and med - fps around 60.

It's (imo) one of those things that you only buy every 3 or 4 years - and an extra month or two saving to get something a little better for that 3 or 4 years - to me - is worth it...

Can't wait to see ya out there kona! It's good fun - jump on TS with us and it will for sure help ramp ya up on the in's and out's of bf3 :)

LOL. Yeah, still working out the signature. Looks kinda amateurish, but I do love me some RPG....

The BF3 videos are unreal. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=2zw8SmsovJc

I wonder if the infantry battles are as much fun on BF3 as they are on DC.....

I hear there pure fail on BF3 cause Spec jumps out behind a blade of grass and knifes you before you get a chance to pull your trigger

get the 17.3" HD+ (1600 x 900) LED Display with Truelife™ , i just bought an 17.3" and i love it, cant play BF3 on it but thats not what i bought it for. the 11" will be too small friend, u'll regret it and ya get a kickass vid card if ur gonna play BF3. just my 2 cents and let us know what u get.. :)

this is the one i bought if u havent already seen it and like i said it wont play BF3 but its great for movies , browsing, email and anything work related, plugs into my flatscreen via HDMI and movies look fantastic or if u got a wireless blu-ray no cables needed.

it`s an Acer Aspire 7250-0672
Amd dual-core E-450 1.6ghz
17.3" HD+ LED LCD
Radeon HD 6320
4GB DDR3
500GB HDD
win7 home 64bit
