Post by zanshin1 »

lmao, i was typing this out and my comp shut down.....

so here it goes again.

i have a geforce 8500 gt vid card.......first off, are the pics my vid card is bad....or the comp overheating as a whole.....meaning my power supply fan isnt working.....which ill be checking in and hour.

I get bad vid after an hr of playing and now after the hour of playing the pics are what happened.

i would like to get a new vid card with an hdmi out on it....do they make them for my comp?

pci express 1.0

any help would be appreciated

clean it out first, then reseat your cpu and even your gpu. it might just be you thermal conductibity has gone with age and you need to renew it.. might help with the over heat issue. also the fan on the psu needs to be working. as for cards i dont know sorry i cant help any more

I wouldn't take the heatsink off the CPU unless you have some of that thermal grease to put pack on.

I'd turn it off, blow it out, take the video card out and put it back in as suggested though.
