johnny8ball was doing the same thing this past Sunday morning (Eastern). 50 pts, 52 kills, and only 7 deaths sniping.

He was in the floor of the right bunker (looking up from the beach flag). He sniped me 3 times in a row behind a beach boat where there was no way I did not see him. Got switched back to red, added him as a buddy and found him in the bunker. Could not see him (only his tag). After blue capped the bunker flag he threw nades from under the floor.

Was going to take a screenie but that would only show his tag. Next time I will try to view him during a spawn cycle.

He should be banned. He knew what he was doing after I chatted him. He ignored me. Lame.

Can you check his cd key against "johnny8ball"? Maybe they are the same person?

It's "jonny8ball" and the only other name he's used according to the tracker is "DFWUjonny8ball."

Something I learned from watching Spec... anytime you have a question of another player possibly using hacks.. it's best just to watch him via 3rd person while dead and see what he is up too.

I Switched last night to the other team to see if this one sniper was glitching or something...turned out he was just in a very good position... by watching him, I didn't have to bug the admins and I learned a new trick :)

I bet I know who that is. He does find nice hides. Are you able to see fog hacks in 3rd person or is that only viewable on the haxor's desktop?

Typically hacks are only viewable if you're on the "offending" desktop - some forms of the hacks may have external indicators though, like if someone is using an aimbot, as you watch them they will sometimes be ripping around in a circle, laying on the ground, to all points of the compass, as their bot aquires new targets.

We take screenshots on the server, too, and review them. That shows minimap hacks and other types that affect local copies of client maps.

Be careful about switching teams to find someone on the other team - I would recommend finishing the round on their team at that point (auto-switch notwithstanding), otherwise finding them and immediately switching back is basically the equivalent of a minimap hack. Or if you don't like that comparison, we'll just call it cheating.

Oh it was totally at the end of the map..we had like, 30 points left...and I didn't switch back, nor did I attack my old blue allies. I just had to know how he was doing it.. we all honestly thought it was a glitch..hiding in a building walls or something.

As much fun as omaha isnt, why isnt it just taken out of the rotation? It is way to easy to glitch, put a mortar anywhere and it's an instant wall glitch. I have (literally)hundreds of screen shots of hundreds of different people glitching on omaha, on purpose or by mistake, it's just how the map is. Sometimes the best solution to a continuous problem is taking away the ability for the problem to occur. Plus on red, you always have the noobtards who run over mines all fricken game, most of the time on purpose; once is understandable, but 6 times is ridiculous. Omaha is a bad DC map and is taking up valuable map space/time that could be used on a decent map. Just my thoughts.

I've stopped laying mines on Omaha. Idiots will continue to run over them (some on purpose just to give you tk's).

We could take away the mortars ? Most people rarely use them, I have but besides using them to take out the def guns, really they are only useful to spam and get lucky.... The kits could be easily be modded out replacing the mortar with smoke grenades or something
