That is too cool. I have always said I enjoy flying when there is intense cloud cover because it is like a white mountain range. I have never seen a white river/ocean. Good music to go along with it. Good find bud.

I wonder how much they sped that up to make it move they way it did.

Yeah that's pretty neat. Lots of times driving north on a freeway here towards SF there is a place where the fog/clouds coming over the top of the hills looks like a wave about to break on the hilltops.

The fog in SF is really thick sometimes - a few weeks back we were headed North over the Golden Gate and I couldn't see the tower in the fog, and within 30 feet suddenly it appeared clearly out of the fog. It's bizarre.

I hadn't actually seen this video, but I posted one a while back that a guy did from the fire lookout on a local mountain. Videos like this really remind me how fortunate I am to live in a place this beautiful.

He's got that Carl Sagan, Neil Degrasse-Tyson excited physicist view of the world - his delight in the everyday is awesome. He has a whole series of videos on youtube.

I am trying to figure this one out. Obviously she was in some sort of protest rally but why was she the only one being asked to leave? Was she in an area that was blocked off/restricted? I am assuming so as the rest of the people are behind a fence. So if that is the case, why not protest along with the rest of them??? I mean that one guy *must* have had some good weed so why leave????

I am not condoning all that they did just trying to get the details as to what led up to this.

edit: I found some answers.

This is apparently from the park service.....

-----------

On Saturday, August 31, pro marijuana organizations gathered on People’s Plaza at Independence NHP to hold a public assembly (First Amendment Event) without a permit but providing the park with advance notice of their intention to gather and participate in civil disobedience, as they had in previous events.

Despite the fact that the group did not have a previously approved permit, the park allowed for peaceful public assembly and free speech but intervened in instances where individuals openly violated federal law.

A small section of the park adjacent to the public assembly was temporarily closed to the public for law enforcement purposes, to provide a secure area for law enforcement officers to process suspects' citations and to tag evidence. An individual, later identified as Ms. Yates, repeatedly refused the directions of law enforcement officers to leave this small area of the park and had to be moved by uniformed Rangers. While being moved, Ms. Yates resisted, kicking and striking the Rangers. Ms. Yates was arrested and has been charged with violations of Title 18 United States Code, Section 111, Assaulting/Impeding/Resisting a Federal Officer; Title 36 Code of Federal Regulations, Section 2.32, Interfering with Agency Functions; and Title 36 Code of Federal Regulations, Section 2.34, Disorderly Conduct.

At her arraignment hearing, probable cause was found for all charges. Ms Yates was released on bond pending her preliminary hearing.

---------

So if that is the case ... my opinion ... she should have just moved. You can see the fence was less than 5 ft away. IMHO, if the above is true (which I did not see any "striking" but I did her she kicked a cop as they put her in the car, bit one and spit on another) she caused some of this.

My .02

Oh and if you have never seen him before, that was Swodi in the hat 4:48 :D

Badass vid swanny. Trippy. Couldn't imagine watching it for the first time or in person on a drug like shrooms or acid.

Its obviously a mind trick. If you wear a foil hat you can make out the aliens working the machines. The little bald alien on the right looks like Nighty.

Good video.
