Does anyone else hate, I mean HATE, 73 eastings

I absolutely hate this map. I just think it is boring. Of course some maps i like better than others but this one is just horrible in my opinion. Does anyone else agree? This map could be fun with a few changes. It wouldn't hurt my feelings at all though to see it gone.

oh dear god yes i hate it. all the admins know it too, i bitch and moan every time it comes up (sorry guys)....but sos and lbm, being the great tankers that they are, love it. same with the "push" map one. i don't think i would dislike it nearly as much if it wasn't so LONG. i know it was tweaked a while back to make the bleed rate faster, but it still takes like 45 minutes to finish the map unless its a slaugher.

I'm not a fan either. It usually last the whole hour. I've been playing a new strat though recently and that has been fun. I sit outside the North base (dug in) when it is held by the opposite team and shoot guys inbound to support their team. Nobody seems to expect me there. LOL

I Used to love eastings, was one of my favs...but I think on this server, because of either the quality of our player base -or- because of how long it's been out now, we all know how to exploit each bases defenses (not exploits like cheating, that is) and make the map a stalemate...

maybe some things can be modified now...

have a ramp outside the town where the US go-kart thing can jump into the town,
put in two small buildings in the middle flag for inf so they too can capture that flag..

couple of bunkers in the middle of no-where for snipers and spotting.

maybe a defgun at each flag to help against each of the new things mentioned above..

small things like that "may" balance it back to a winable campaign...

Needs more tanks... 4 (in main) is lame, should add a couple more. more tanks= more action= less jerking off in main waiting.

I agree totally I just leave the server when Easting comes on. I wish it would be pulled from the rotation. its too big and relies to heavily on arty to be fun. please please please remove from rotation.

nothin I like better than speeding around sliding in behind the best of you and giving ya a good reaming ... specially that SOS kid ... o ya because of speed I can stretch the map a bit and use the OB to my advantage

I actually dig the map. One of my favorite things to do is drop c4 from the sky on arty positioned at the SE flag. Yippie :)
