Romulus generally you would hear your whole team.... in some cases even the opposing team if they choose not to go to another room. But it is possible to create multiple rooms in Ventrilo or TS and create something similar to squads in BF2 except in DC you won't spawn and move out with your squad. Really for DC I think it would be best to hear your whole team just because one minute you will be next to and fighting alongside one guy and after dieing you will be next to another and it would be a hassle to change rooms.
