Simon those are radio controlled. Doc and I were on ts the other day and got to talking about them as we both fly them. Well ... I shoulda say I used to. Anyways he said he would post a few of his for me too see. If any of ever get a chance to fly one you need to ... it is a blast.

Simon - the guns are actually on an Island called Corregidor Island, at the entrance of Manila Bay (image I took of Battery Way). In fact, it was a major American fortification leading up to WWII. This is also the island where MacArthur boarded a PT boat to Australia. Anyway, I have been there twice, as it is a really cool place to investigate what are pretty much ruins of some serious fighting that occurred in 1941/42, and again in 1945 - lots of stuff is still there as it was left, with bullet holes and all.

TOG - The island is not too far from you (compared to where I am located) - and highly recommended for anyone who has an interest in WWII history, specifically the Battle of the Pacific.
