EA 117 Gaming Community

Bummed to hear that everyone settled on Friday. I have a prior engagement tmrw night. I typically can only play on Sundays on weekends as I relayed previously, as my Fridays and Saturdays are typically spoken for by other commitments. My spot is up for grabs.

Hope you all have a lot of fun bringing back the clan wars! This could be a great laboratory for future such events.

I'm taking over to help organize in Bang's absence, since as he wrote on the EA117 chat, he's had a death in the family and won't make it.

So right now it looks like a 4 vs 4. There's also the possibility of mali responding, as both Bang and I sent him invites, but that would make it 5 vs 4 on the night where HRD is there. One idea is we could pop in to EA117 and see if we could get an extra player from there if Mali does show and we need to even the sides, or same deal for the day that HRD doesn't show up and we need to make up for his absence.

Anyways, we're flying by the seat of our pants. See you guys at 8PM CST tomorrow in TONA'S SERVER. Don't forget to pay attention to the case-sensitivity on the password Bang sent to you. I kept typing it in with an upper-case "V" and not getting let in (Don't say the password on here.)

Thanks again BangBangOw for getting this started. Even if it doesn't turn out perfectly you put in an awesome effort to get something going and I'm curious what it's like to not get to kill sanchez every round.

Oh and one more thing, we'll only be playing Al Nas the whole tournament....juuuust kidding.

Ok so Friday night of the clan war didn't work out. A couple players had Origin clients which aren't compatible with Tona's server. And then one player was *erm* having quality time with their significant other *cough* and then El che i dont know where the hell he was.

So tomorrow, we do still have the option of using Maxnet with Mali's admin priveleges for the origin players. Either that or we recruit more non-Origin players off of EA117 or we say fuck it and try again some other time or just play on EA and enjoy it!

I did a test just now on the Maxnet server, my ping was at 275...
If with 150 is already a little difficult to play on EA117, imagine with almost double.
If we're really going to play there Blinko, don't be charging me for performance, even though you're kind of boring, right? lol

Mali if you go on Tona's server it's all the maps listed there. I'll still go to tonas tonight and see who shows up there, in case people didn't read this thread. I'm not personally psyched about playing on maxnet and would be fine going back to EA unless a bunch of people show for the clan match.

Cyber there is a proxy ip for maxnet if u have to high ping and lag's

I really like the idea of these 5v5 fights and I’d like to join them.

Black mamba, I organized this event lol, but it went to crap when a bunch of us had last minute things that came up. We could try to set another up again, it seemed like a good idea. Maybe you could set up a new forum for it at a later date.

Right now I’m just trying to recruit players for our server, trying to increase the player base number, and it has been working. We’re up to rank 15 on the gametrackee list, while a month ago we sat at 24.
