I only began using the multiple view things recently (vecause of something I read on a forum about it), ya that totally works and works well.

Another benefit of using views is radar only shows other aircraft in your vicinity if they are within a certain amounbt of altitude of you.. so if someone dives down on you from behind, you may not even know he is there until you pop.. views helps alleviate that.
This is a pretty good video. We should try to find some flying tactics videos (i've seen them out there) from third person perspectives, so guys will know why "this" works or why "that" is a bad idea to do.

Also, the Mirage is truly the Epic fighter of DC.. but it's not insurmountable.. they tend to climb slower and rotate slower in their verticle axis (e.g. pulling up or nosing down), try to force them into this position.

And like stated above by someone else, get a joystick and set the hat button for rear view (I tend to use the flyby nose/tail cam and front view)

I've been using the multiple view feature for a while, people always ask.. how did you know I was behind you and what not. I just smile when they do.

It comes in handy when your dog fighting.

This is what I use for my Joystick, nothing fancy but it works.

This is the same hardware I use. Had to replace it once already.
