Luna/Lucid/Vibe just crashed the server over 9 times!

If you want to report a player, this is the place to do so.

Ever wondered how Chewbacca wipes his ass? Does his home planet sell products like "Hair-N-Colon Blo"? We're talking a ten on the Robin Williams scale of body hair here.

Is the server still being attacked? If I remember correctly, I know of a way to put up a server that is hidden but you can connect to by IP. If anyone is interested in that maybe we could go that way for the time being. The IP would have to carefully be spread

may be this is going to sound crazy but while the administrators find a solution to this problem, is there a possibility that we just play on one of those empty servers, temporarily during the time that trench is working on this issue. Just find one with a low ping , again this would be just a temporary solution.

You bring up very valid points here. However, the first one's easy to answer. With Ewoks.

On the Robin Williams scale, that might be impressive, but you haven't met Rye yet. He braids his back hair if that tells you anything. And I blame Rye, and Tona's saggy teetz. There, I said it. :6:

When I was a kid I dreamt that someday I would write a master's thesis on chewbacca. Alas I grew up to do other less worthy things like pay rent and get laid.

You need to listen this song. It's a great 90s grunge song, that appeared in Kevin Smith's first film Clerks, called "Chewbacca, what a wookie!"

I remember this. It sounds like Rye when he's trying to describe the housing market.

hey all, sanchez makes a good point... I will be on the "The Eagle's Nest" 68.232.163.216 if you want to play while the admins take care of the issues here and the server gets back to normal.

The Eagle's Nest has map vote and DC final maps running.

Revive just got their BF2 servers shut down, but there are still alot out there and up.
Got a new comp and haven't installed BF1942/DC yet. Might be time if you can stop this dbag.

Hope you can fix the glitch. Cheers.

If you haven't already seen it, there is now an announcement post in the Desert Combat forum that describes what our solution is going to be moving forward.

The new server is available immediately, and in fact we were already playing on it tonight. The updated GameTracker server banner is on the front page. Let me know if there is something that still doesn't seem clear, or info we could add or remove to make things better.

For now the old server is staying online too, but just because we'll be changing the in-game banners and announcements to show information about connecting to the new server. Eventually the old server will be taken completely offline, because we don't plan to return to using that server.

The new server is temporarily in New Jersey, because we couldn't get a new server online quickly enough here in Dallas. Our plan is to ultimately get a new server online back in Dallas again, and so the server may move back to Texas after a couple weeks. If and when that happens, we'll make an announcement so that you know to "Update" your in-game server list again to pick up the new server information.
