Post by Dr Chaka »

Hello folks..... I am Dr Chaka. I am new to EA117 Gaming community.... I been playing Battlefield for sometime now. I lost my game and PC on a storm. I have now installed the copy that i had for years and i would like to join the server. I hope to see some of you in the battlefield..... Dr Chaka.

Welcome Dr. Chaka, glad to have you back online. Your server connection should be sorted now, so we'll see you in the game!

Looks like you got online fine already, but I should have mentioned: If you have any issues with Windows 10, PunkBuster, the server list being empty, or the game crashing too frequently, you might want to have a look at & go through the installation steps at "HOW TO: Use the CD-based Battlefield 1942 game to play on the EA117 server".

This old game takes a bit of encouragement in order to get running right, so when you're starting from scratch, the items on this list might help.

That PunkBuster kick you're seeing is probably due to a lack of "TanksPBUpdate", which is item 7 in the list.
