TeamsSpeak on your iPhone!

Post by Specialist » Fri Feb 26, 2010 11:49 pm

I just found this cool app for the iPhone, its called PhoneSpeex and it allows you to connect to any TS2 server directly on your iPhone.

I downloaded the app and tried it out and it works!!! I just thought I would share it with you guys.

This website has some additional info.

For those who use it, can you comment on the connectivity and audio quality with 3G as opposed to WiFi?

Thanks,

Ive only tried it on WiFi, but I will try on 3G and let you know. The iPhone mic pics up the audio great (people on teamspeak can hear me very well), but for the iPhone speaker, seems like the volume is a bit low.

My guess is that 3G will be fine since I don't think TeamSpeak takes all that much bandwidth.
