There are only two CTF's (Night, I edited your list :P )
And El Al is back in the rotation. My bad. I forgot to reboot server after replacing El AL Day3 with El Al.
As for Secret Weapons Sarge, I would LOVE to run them. But majority of ppl do not have the expansion pack :cry: Wish there was a download for it but you need to buy it.

Did I put 3 CTF's on there??? if so my bad. I know the list on BFRM only showed Al Nas and Nights as CTF.

Might want to rethink dust bowl modded. I like that map, but I don't think very many people have downloaded it. There were probably 20 + people on last night when dust bowl came up. 3 of us remained when the map loaded.

I think my biggest beef would be with Iwo Jima. I like the map, but not the red carrier. It makes those rounds drag and drag and drag. We ought to go back to the imbalanced blue carrier only model to create tension. Otherwise, red can always just respawn on carrier and fly back to island. Its less of a defend and hold and more of a "crazily look up for HALO bailers from jets". I like the old Red holds all flags at start and blue tries to invade. Otherwise, it seems those rounds last the full hour.

Overall, seems like a nice rotation. I'll weigh in after I get a feel for it. My only request would be to throw in Al Nas twice during the rotation.

I agree, iwo sucks cuz you really cant win....meaning end the map. its an hour no matter what you do.

IMO you all should balance the maps.....whats on red should be on blue and vice versa....

I see people leave cuz they arent on the team that has what they would like to use....

Bocage would be a decent helo map......if red had the apache.

Bring back buldge......

i would like to try that modded dustbowl, by the time i installed it...map was changed.

Im not sure i even installed it right....

I think thats part of it.....in the read me file.....give better instructions on what to do...more people may do it.

I kept clicking it waiting for an install wizrdy thing to happen.

I cut the file and followed the path shown and pasted it there..

please do something with LV's ticket bleed...If blue gets all the flags its over in like 5 mins..Never really gives red enough time to try and get the back...

It's definitely one to request for a manual "set next" when an admin is on & enough of the players on the server agree they have the modded map installed.

I played it for the first time yesterday just before it was removed from the rotation. Logic (the player, not the Vulcan kind) was telling me that the vehicles are almost all BF2 style; I don't remember enough of BF2 to know. All the vehicles have a different look, the tanks have a different HUD, the mobile AA has both bullets and missiles, and OH YEAH: FOUR DIFFERENT KINDS OF WELL-ARMED CHOPPERS. can all maps be modded then.... :) :)

know how fun would that be on lost village.......lock then gunners seat and no stingers.....
duck in and out with rpgs ....even fluffy would have fun with that.

Yeah, it is rather bad. Once blue has all the flags, the game will end in less than 10 min from a few hundred tickets.

Can't recall them all off the top of my head, something removed or replaced Iwo in the previous list.

But the last few rotations have been short enough that if you simply join the server and press the INSERT key (or whatever your game "Map Vote" key is mapped to, if not the default), you can see the entire rotation order in the list that gets displayed.

Ticket bleed on LV is still messed up. It's 3 tickets every ~2 seconds. That's ridiculous.

Any chance to up the flag limit on Al Nas to 7 instead of 5?

It is often the case the round is over within 20-30 minutes, or even quicker in some extreme cases. A run by one team can result in 2-3 flag scores quite easily. If someone rushed and got away with a quick steal...you can be on a team or join the server down 3 flags only 5-10 mins into the round. I'm not sure the last time I played it when the clock ended the round. It is always a 5th flag capture.

Thoughts?

I'd even suggest doubling it to 10. If a team is actually good and just legitimately spanking the other, it's not like 5 versus 10 will represent an egregious "this map is taking too long". It's still going to be over quickly. 10 at least gives us a little more time to try and overcome the penalty of all-noob teams and/or late spawn-ins.

Also, thanks for adjusting the LV ticket rate. At least the last couple times we've played it seemed normal, even when blue was holding the flags.

I'm down with 10. I think Al Nas benefits from the need to be aggressive. Its a fun map where getting away from main is just the beginning of running the gauntlet sometimes.

Also - yes, when the opposing team holds both flags in the middle, it creates a very tough situation for your team and it would be good to be able to recover from a base rape where you can't even spawn sometimes and the flag is being stolen. So maybe they get 2-3 flag steals on a run, but by then, a teammate was able to get to another flag and cap it so there was spawn outlet that isn't being camped. And you're still in the game because its only 4 to 1 or something and they still need 6 caps to win while as it currently is, they'd only need 1 more.

I wonder, are there are contrary thoughts to this? I know everyone has different map preferences.
