Desert Combat Extended 9 on Win 7(x64)?

Hey,

I don't know where this is the appropriate place to ask this, but here goes anyway. Has anyone successfully managed to run DC Extended 9 on Win7(x64)? DCX8 runs just fine for me, but 9 crashes to desktop while loading maps. I've updated video/audio drivers to no avail, and all other hacks that I could find on the net (e.g. reduce resolution, try different compatibility settings etc.) doesn't work. If anyone has got DCX9 running, could you please let me know what is needed?

PS: I'm running the origin version of 1942, and have all the needed mods for DCX9.

It sounds crazy I know but I have not been able to get it to run on 7. On my XP machine it will run fine. Does not make any sense to me.

Same here, except I don't have an XP machine to run it I've given up on 9 for now.
