anyone have a copy of Battlefield 1942 you could lend me?? I'll give it back when I'm done reinstalling it..My
CD'S must be screwed up of something because they won't reinstall

You need this windows update patch as well, mortarman did us a huge favour -

it might want you to run as an admin? Right click on your bf icon and hit run as admin. Also, I had to change my screen resolution too, with the new computer running win 8
