Coastal Hammer CTF

Would someone like to volunteer to modify Coastal Hammer CTF such that the two capturable flags are located in the town? It would have to be a server-side mod, i.e. one that would *not* require a download of an RFA file.

Perhaps one capturable flag at the motel, one in the town center? Or alternatively, one capturable flag at the factory, the other in the park? Ultimately we can get fancy, eg. making Forest Base a strategic spawn point with access to powerful weapons (e.g., abrams/t72 + SA helo).

Sure thing. So uh, this is a really crappy paint I just made, but I think it should get the point across (hopefully) :D

Blue = US CTF flag
Red = Iraq CTF flag
Green = Spawn points with M1A1's, T72's, Choppas

So pick which one you guys want, do you guys want the flags laid out like in the pic, or do you want it opposite, i.e. US flag at town center, Iraq flag at motel. Tell me what you want, I'll make it

Great, Jim!

I think both orientations have merit. How about we start with Factory = Blue Flag, Park = Red flag for now? Does anyone have any strong feelings that the opposite orientation would be preferable?

I don't know how hard is is for you to do Jim, but could we try two configurations...?
One like your pic, but the beach base is an axis uncap, with the forest an allied uncap. Tanks, choppers etc as you said.
With the flags being so close I can see quick games though, especially as some spawn elsewhere to try and bring tanks in.
What about the beach base being Axis with a couple light vehicles and a transport chopper, forest goes to allied with the same stuff. Flags at these bases. Then the 4 city flags are left to be capped and that is where the heavy armor spawns.
I personally think CTF maps in general need random cap points to thin out base defenses, but there needs to be incentive to leave the base and hold these points.
