Not sure who all visits the forum much anymore, but I would love to get some feedback on Easting CTF!

Since crash had asked in game, here are the changes made to Easting CTF.

- 50 cals moved to accessible location in blue main, in western tents. 50 cals added to west concrete bunker in red main.
- AA kits added to center of arty outpost and concrete bunker near repair pad in town.
- Helos added to both mains.
- Shilka added to repair pad in town.
- Ladas with carbomb added to town.
- Artillery moved from mains. Both faction shell and missles artillery added to arty outpost.
- Red main repair depots cannot be moved, so death bubbles were added to prevent pad camping. This affects both teams.

The idea was to build on a tank map smaller than Aberdeen. Travel in groups, repair your team mates!
Open to any suggestions you guys might have. This is my first work!

Played really well in my opinion, Hairy. You mentioned wanting to put some DPVs "outside the fence" so that folks could sneak in. I expect those will simply be used to try and dash off with the flag, rather than "get in." 😜 My opinion is that it was fine like it currently is: You have to bring a fast vehicle, if you can, in order to try and leave in a fast vehicle.

That there was no nonsense of Tona or Mali killing you every 47 seconds in a Harrier was definitely refreshing.

Yeah you're probably right about the DPVs Trench. And 47 seconds of life is a good record for me in any map!
But tona is definitely a harrier flying poopnose.

I liked it. But I did notice one thing.

Driving an Abrams into the red flag “pit” where it’s currently located creates a bouncing glitch most of the time. But other than that it played good and would be a good map for 10v10 I believe.

Good work!

It's like a golf sand trap, but for noobs. 😜 Hairy comes through at the end of the day to sweep them all out....

I'm not going to try and do anything about the bouncy tanks. Park and walk into the restaurant instead of going through the drive thru you lazy ass. ;)

Too bad there’s no one left to play this map.

Oh, don't be so doom and gloom. We've had worse technical issues before, and fortunately, it seems at least temporarily resolved.

See you all on the battlefield tonight :-)

BTW, I love what HRD did what this map. just thinking out loud: a lot of best CTF maps have flags that are in confined spaces with multiple exits/entrances. I'm wondering if it's worth exploring red flag being placed at the NW base instead?
