I do not land the 130 thank you very much. It may get shot down while I am flying but I will have you know I was in control the whole time during that crash

When is this due to be released? Also, what's with the four new maps (Ziba Tower, Operation 925, etc.)?

I know the new maps should go live around the 11th or 12th for Premium members. The C130 comes out with Armored kill which comes out in September.

Got an update on this:
The AC130 is not in fact flyable, it flies itself around the map in a circular pattern and players can spawn in it during a game. It is a 2-seater aircraft in which both gunners get 2 guns each, so it can also serve as a mobile spawn point for the team.

Though to me, it's sort of disappointing that it isn't flyable, but I suppose it's for the best.

I heard about it not being flyable.......but honestly thought that would be about as stupid as tit's on a bull so I figured it to be just rumor.

Not flyable makes it almost pointless....are we going to be able too shoot it down?? can we spawn on it and then parachute?? are the gunners going to be impervious to enemy fire???

putting a guy in the pilot seat answers and fixes ALL of those things.

It was shown at the E3 demo of the Armoured Kill expansion that it is not flyable.
You can spawn in it and parachute out, so it can serve as a mobile spawn point, and it can be shot down, so therefore the gunners can be killed. But I do agree with you on the fact that it should be flyable.

In this video, at the very beginning it shows that the AC130 can be shot down. The video also runs over an explanation of the purpose and ability of it.

Currently, i'm thinking i'm gonna be the guy who sits in the AC130 gunner's seat for the entire game.
