How to take screenshots in game

Post by Specialist » May 16th, 2009, 9:39 pm

How do I take a screenshot and where does it get saved?
Press the Print Screen key to take a screenshot. It gets saved to C:\Program Files\EA Games\Battlefield 1942\Screenshots

How do I convert a screenshot(TGA) into a JPG?
Use Photoshop or some such program. You can also try these free ones: Infraview and Paint.net.

For you Mac users ((OS 10.6.x Snow Leopard) - you can take a SS by doing this.

Command+Shift+3
or
⌘⇧3

The screenshot saves to the desktop (or wherever the user specifies) and is viewable in the integrated "Preview" application by double clicking.

** Thanks to Ready-FIRE-Aim for sending me this info for the Macs **

you may also download the Faststone Image Viewer which saves screenshots directly in jpg form.
