Re: Has anyone?
I take it then your mower is bagless and you just want to choke your lawn?

Re: Has anyone?
It is bagless. And by choke I assume you mean leave the grass clipping???
So I guess to answer ... yes and yes/no. Gatorblades are "suppose" to produce finer clipping much like a mulching blade. But they have more lift than a mulching blade which is needed as I do not have the mulching deck nor do I want to weld baffles on this mower. Its a 27 yr old Simplicity

Re: Has anyone?
Heres the deal. I've been bagged for years now ...sometimes sober. I'd rather haul the clippings away. But before the suburbian ways I have grown accustomed to oh weed hopper, I mulched with the best of them. The problem is the "great lie" they all tell you about mulching and how it decomposes to help the lawn, bullcrap. Thats why they rent power rakes for your lawn to beat out all the old clipping from years gone past. Its amazing. I thought my lawn was fine. Rented a power rake of whatever it was called and pulled out almost 5 monster lawn trash bags full of "mulched grass" from years of mowing. If that blade cuts a finer clipping I would go with it. Its possible the finer clipping just may blow into your neighbors yard on a windy day. Maybe give your lawn a beating first and get all the crap out of it first and start fresh.
And this is for your Momma She owes me!

Re: Has anyone?
I think you are talking about dethatching. Which can be beneficial under certain circumstances. Especially with certain grasses. But damn if it will n ot make your lawn look like crap for a while LOLOL. Its funny how one person will say one thing and then someone else will give you the COMPLETE opposite. I worked for a lawn care service for a while. Not the mowing side but the fertilizing and overseeding side. They would tell people 1 never cut more than a 3rd of the grass blade off. 2 leave the clippings on the lawn. When you do that it will decompose and it is like getting 2 extra applications of fert. but naturally.
As for the grass not decomposing. When I do rake ... VERY rare btw I throw all those clippings in the compost and they are gone in no time. So my experience is the grass decomposes quite well. Especially the fescue.

Ok doh! The rocker can be reversed and the white spaces can be two rockers with the bottom being the outline. Sound good fuckwad lol. When I first looked at it I was kinda puzzled but my old eyes saw two white rockers. Thank you very much for setting me straight. Can't wait to meet you someday and repay you. Re: Has anyone?
I guess that is Tuck in the hat. He is wearing it to keep his ears in ????
I am mad because that was the first experiment with poo bombs. ..... It went wrong.
Oh and FYI ... do not buy those gatorblades for regular mowing. I am NOT impressed. The sticker on the blade claims better mulching, better discharge, etc etc....BLAH BLAH .... Those teeth shoot the grass back to the center of the blade. NOT discharging it out. I am thinking about twisting the "teeth" so they throw the grass in the opposite direction and see how that works. My neighbor told me the ONLY time he uses his is to mow leaves in the fall as they do a really good job of chopping them up real fine other than that he said they are where they belong. Hangin on the wall NOT on the mower.
Gatorblade ='s leaf blade
