Need I say more .... enjoy
opus wrote:I am very tired of the stryker on this map..
Red has nothing to counter act with, and the stryker can camp blue main safely on the other side of the bridge. Furthermore it can go into red main, and camp the spawns. Ridiculous..
Untill something is done, im boycotting this map. I won't play it.

It's a shame, cause it's a really good map.

I don't know about ctf maps on rotation. Would you want to be stuck on a ctf map for an hour when there's only 10 people in the server?

I think it works well with admins just running the occasional CTF map.

Actually I am hit or miss on that one Spec ... Certain maps NO ... But we have had a BLAST on Al Nas with 8-10 people. Hell the battle server is 10 people and its CTF. I am cool with whatever just my opinion ;)

Of course I guess you could tell me to go play the battleserver then

Yes but when we play on the battle server people expect to play ctf. If the main server is running a ctf map and you only see 6 people on the server, would you join the server? I think players would drop out for most of the ctf maps if they were on rotation.

   FINE .... *** goes and sits in the corner with his arms crossed*** ;) :)

I hear ya on that ... For me I have seen where we run a CTF map and I get asked a map or two later .. "Can we run another CTF" sometimes with more or less people. What would be nice if they were set up to only be 30 minutes. Just some thoughts ... I know you were not telling everyone you were going to change the rotation so we could all debate on what needs to be done. So you will have to forgive me for that part .. I just for one love that map CTF. ;) Minus the Stryker and Opus.

Server rotation has been updated.

For the CTF maps, we have set the flag capture limit to 5.

love the new rotation - I personally really like the ctf(s) in rotation - and honestly, sometimes I play for several hours at a time (like many of you! lol) and sometimes it's nice to just sorta dork around for a map and not hussle and try so hard like most maps - and if you're not a big ctf'er - it's a good chance for ya to relax a little and dork off and wait until the next conquest to play as you typically might...

Good work Spec :)

I was informed that the map list was not matching the list I posted earlier. I have fixed that but it will take effect next time the server crashes or restarts.

Is there any way of not making Gazala the first map? When no one is playing the system defaults to the first map which is Gazala. If we can then could we put a more popular map first on rotation?

Well then that "popular" map would become the new map that the server will default too and than ppl will start complaining about it lol.
