Starting clan !! :D

Okay so yeah I'm Enfield , haven't been playing dc for too long but i am quite an active player due to my broken 360. I noticed some players wearing clan tags, but i haven't heard of any clan matching or anything of that sort :/

I'm just wanting to start a clan that will use tactics and play as a team when online together. It would be nice to have a couple of guys watching your back.

Enfield, even though you're new, I have noticed you on several times. I definitely feel like teamwork or lack thereof is a major factor in whether your side wins or loses. It seems like focusing on personal score sometimes takes precedence over winning the battle. Of course, the purpose of the game is to have fun, so if you like sniping or other one-man missions (as I do enjoy) that's your prerogative, but you're right about it being nice to have someone at your back.

I don't know what the policy is in this server for having clans and stuff, but I do know that players have been kicked in the past for behavior that included stuff like team stacking. I don't know whether the formal or informal formation of clans would count as that; maybe an admin could jump on and provide some input?

You can be in a clan, not be in a clan, have a clan tag, not have a clan tag, it doesn't matter to me.

If you and five of your friends come in though, play on the team you end up on. Don't all think that because you know how to make alt characters in your names that it gives you the right to be on the same team no matter what.

Plus, if your clan is worth anything it doesn't make it any fun for anyone else on the server, since on a pub server if you have even a little coordination and a TS server you can own all day long.

I'm not a huge fan of using the server to recuit, and that's only because repeated and SPAMmed requests to join clog up the chat. If it's kept to a respectful minimum I have no issue with it.

you might have some luck going onto the xfire website and look in the bf42 forum section...you can also post your own message in the gaming ring section to see who esle plays it........i took this game serious and enjoyed teamwork...heres me in training for DC, so that if you find clan buddies u can copy my training method to

Thanks for youre input admins. I'll totally respect your rules on clans. team stacking would definitely not be problem, and of course I always go to the team the server puts me on, or i join the team with the least people.

Klans ... well I'm in the UG ... Underground Garage. I actually enjoy playin against my Bros. Nothin better than gettin a leg up on a long time friend in combat. If we were walkin out a bar I Know they would have my back but here in game It great fun killen em! Back in the day ... I found the UG server .. which was "no rules" 24/7 el al and I gave em no choice but to "Make me". Id back my tank into the other teams hanger ... up against an ammo box and Kamp the poo out em. Imagine than me kampin a spawn point ... I've had to adapt on this server and develop a couple other tricks ... but as you all know I still revert to my BF infancy.

As far as this server and its Public play if a few players actually start workin as a cohesive unit ... well jus be careful you dont run the pubs off ... sadly we did ... jus be careful :ugeek:
