sorry I couldn't help it. I think most of us believe it is fading to some extent. With it losing PB support and all. I am with ya it does suck as I still enjoy this game and I got it shortly after it came out I just took some time off. So now its almost like starting over again. I have tried to get some freinds to buy the game to keep fresh faces around in hopes to keep it going. But as they say ...Time will tell.

Kevin was speaking about DC and 1942, there are only a handfull of servers that remain populated.
The fact is that DC will die one day but will be there with it untill the last day it's supported.

I had been owned in my own base for a few maps and appeared there was no admin on, i never saw any warnings but then i don't always read text but i do read the admin text in yellow most of the time.
I had been in this situation before and the answer was simple
if your being base raped and there is no admin just leave the server or stay and get tooled. not much of an option
btw that was a very long distance shot, I never entered the damage zone
I was trying for the jet in the air which i got over water.
if you look at the amount of bans on this server it has increased dramatically over the past year. and given that dc is dying off and there are fewer players and servers left i would imagine trying to keep players playing would be foremost.
I have more than one copy of bf so i can play even though I'm banned but that's beside the point.
So you got killed in your base from a very long distance lucky shot is it worth banning ? you don't think a kick would do the job? a kick would at the minimum inform me that the map is being administrated despite players raping my base.
on an odd note it always happens on Guadalcanal .... dont know why
