We've added No Fly Zone Day 2 into the rotation. Some people don't understand what to do, and that can make the map interminable. Hopefully this will help.

How does No Fly Zone Day 2 work?
There are 4 buildings to be destroyed for each team.. Each building has an effect on the map.
* Radar Dome (on top of a hill)
SAM sites will no longer respawn
* Air Traffic Control Tower
Main fighter jets will no longer respawn (F16/Mig)
* 2 Hangers
Bombers will no longer respawn from that hangar
A good order of destroying these buildings is Radar, Hangars, Tower. If the other team has really good fighter pilots, you might want to take out the Tower before the Hangars. Bombers and C4 are the only things that can really hurt these buildings, although it still takes a lot to blow them up.

So will mortars take out the buildings?

To be honest, I don't know if mortars work on the objects. If they do, I would assume it would probably take about 1000 rounds :)

I've personally used a mortar on the radar dome, and it went from smoking to dead.
It does work, I'm just not sure exactly how well.
I usually just drop all my bombs, crash the plane into target as I bail, and resort to mortar.
After that, time to hunt for either a reload, or a new bomber.

The proper way to play NFZ Day 2 is to jump in an SA3 and watch all those enemy planes go boom!
Re: The proper way to play NFZ Day 2
i tried c-4 on the radar dome a few times but i don't know if it did anything
