why banned?

Can somebody who is an admin ask Petko why I am banned? I forgot which site I was playing on and accidently invaded a base. Petko kicked me for a few minutes and I logged back on. I almost invaded another main and pulled out at the last minutes when I realized my mistake. I then typed to the admin that "I hoped I dont get kicked for that". They next thing I know I am getting hammered by petco and berated. nobody was trying to be insulting.

I have actually financially supprted groups yours when I played Battlefield vietnam and never ever had an issue with an admin. or ever been called out in year sof playing.

so I have to ask "why the ban?" Petko knows.

I don't know what happened between you and Petko before I got there, but I was there when you said "I hope I don't get kicked for dosrupting [sic] gameplay," using the exact message you saw when you got kicked the first time. As far as I know it's a 3-day ban. Again, I wasn't there for all of it but the way I read your comment above didn't come off half as smartass as it seemed when you said it in game.

I am not sure about smart ass but I was joking. Its a game. its supposed to be about fun. Petko just went off. Not sure why. I am really not that worried about it and I hope Ea117 isnt all frothed up as well.

I know that sometimes dealing with different personalities can be challenging. For both sides. I certainly don't like feeling tread upon yet I know the difficulty in feeling like I have to spend my days online babysitting. It seems we need to work together. If there was a misunderstanding I'm sure Rick would be open to your attempt at reconciling your differences.

First of all, your statement of " I forgot which site I was playing on" tells me you don't think coherently when playing. Second, if you have had experience with the server before you know that we hold ALL people accountable for their game play. You had a warning before, and I know you have played on the server prior to this 3 day ban. Two infractions in a row is not a "mistake" in my book. This server exists for people to have fun, that means ALL people, not just your definition of "fun". The rules are posted in this forum, and if you care about the server like you say you do, as in "prior financial support", then I urge you to read and follow them. Its not that hard to do. We want you to game here, I didn't ban you permanently, so come back and play. No hard feelings. We as admins don't "get off" doing these kicks and bans, we would prefer to play and have fun just like you. But just like in real life, we need sheriffs, I'm just a deputy doing my job.

hmm, I was there... I actually disconnected cause of your little smart ass joke.... prefered to disconnect than deal with a smacktrad wannabe hacked/wacker.

I also recall the conversation that went on on TS when you said that... if I were you, I'd shut up and be thankful I'm back on. these are terrific admins...but they are terrific cause they keep troublemakers away... not cause they forget tardisms.

I think Ricks got a good point here.... I have forgotten which side I was on and shot at a team mate before, but still your argument doesn't make sense at all. Because a main base is a main base! Even if I were to get confused and fly over the enemy main thinking it was my own I would never fire upon it, like I said a main base is a main base. The poor excuse "I forgot which side I was playing on and accidently invaded" would only apply if you were attacking a capturable flag that your team was holding.
