LMAO ... I am no nerd just read up on stuff when there is an issue. As for Sarge let me correct you on your statement. WE have not been at each other, HE has been at ME.

Update .... no luck guys .. You can quit trying to get it to work for the time being. On the upside they are able to recreate the problem. I have to get some more info for their guy but it will have to wait till I get home. Unfortunately he said there is no guarantee that it will ever :? work ... soooo whatever I hear I will let y'all know.

No one likes a kiss ass .... and I guess I will have to ask Boon WTF that is all about next time I see him on TS.

But its no problem ... I know how much I like the overlay and I hate it for those that cant use it so hopefully we will get things squared away. I am sure by now most of you that are on TS dont really need an overlay as everyones voices/speach pattern/accent is COMPLETELY different. My favorite is the Australian/New Zealand accent ... I told oldboi he sounds just like Crocodile Dundee  .. We need to get some Scottish or Irish people on .. that is the greatest accent ever  FREEDOM!!!!!!!!!!!! .. Oh and they MUST play the bagpipes :) ... OK I am gonna have to go listen to some bagpipes now

Thanks NS. Iwas working with the darn TS crap for over an hour. Downloaded every add on and plugin they had, no luck. Even reinstalled a few times. I did see one problem though. After the program downloaded the window popped up as usual to install. When I hit the install button the next box stated, Error opening file for writing. and a command code ending in the good ol "ddl" with the options to retry, ignore and cancel. By ignoring installed as always. I can't find anything on the web with this problem. Anyone else have this??

Yes .. Everyone with XP will have the same resluts. At least with this game that is. ;)

I will tell you you can try Playclaw if you want .. I have been told it works. I was going to try it but then TS came out with its own overlay and I have always been the type that figures it is best to use the one from the original developers. Hopefully that will work for yall. I will load it up on my XP comp later if I have some time and see if it works.

OK all the XP users .. I am gonna need your help now ... If you are trying to use the overlay and it is not working I need XP Service-Pack level, Graphics card and driver (including version) and probably a dxdiag output .... Let me know if you need any help getting that stuff .. Please PM this stuff to me that way we dont clutter up the forum with some really long post. Thanks Night.

I haven't been able to get it to work with Win7 yet. I just changed my display settings to match yours tonight but I assume I would see it *somewhere* on the screen even without the position shift.

Is the DirectX overlay plugin enabled?
