How about helping out a poor American down on his luck

Post by LF55 »

Actually, down on my skills. Call it advanced age (most of you know it as dementia), but I don't quite get some of these unlock features. Eg, if I am 2nd man in the tank I have IR vision sometimes and other times I do not. WTF? Is there a way to turn it on or off? Can I switch back to machine gunner from IR?

Be gentile matey's. My bones are brittle.

You probably have it for the M1 but not the T90 or vice-versa?

You have to unlock it per-vehicle. It sucks. You also have to equip it per-vehicle I believe. Maybe not on that one since the customization is for "armor."

If that's not it then I'm not sure.

larry, might I suggest that you consider diving into the 117 server with all of us and get on ts. I was- and well kinda remain -a lost mutherfluffer. But the lads on ts have been a great help explaining stuff as we go along, sharing tactics, tips and tricks. The learning curve is shortened with them.

I remember that round... hacker :D :D :D

Absolutely Larry - ts is such a help on sooo many of those little things that just take forever to figure out on our own... There are tons of neat little settings and tweaks and unlocks that all can really add up to a better game... Just loadout a gun like this - use this cammo here - couple specific levelups and all the sudden you're getting all sorts of kills and points :)

Swanny is probably right though - in you loadout for each tank specifically and also make sure on the gunner and the 2nd seat...

I don't know if that's a server setting option or not - but there are many settings that can differ from server to server as well that might not allow specific things... :/

The in-game VoIP sucks, we use the TS3 server.
