Im curious , with the A-10 engines modded, does it allow it to out turn a mig29 or other fighter planes?

I ask because we got decimated by a a-10 on oilfields lastnight so I decided to go up in the mig and track it down, I came up on it and was able to get on its 6 before he went into the typical loop pattern. After about 5 loops I went from being on his 6 to him being on mine and killing me.

Now I could care less about getting killed , what bothers me is that the A-10 was able to out turn me which is why I am asking the question.

It depends on the pilot, I would be able to out turn some players in jets while in the a10 but wouldn't stand a chance if say SC was flying.

The A10 can be very elusive to the mig if flown pretty much up and down. I've had a bit of luck with that. My real question is how SC does what he does. I've been around for quite a while and have NEVER seen anyone else do what he does. I know he's a good pilot but I really question what's going on there. He can normally find me ANYWHERE and kill me almost instantly. Never seen anyone else that can do what he is doing without some sort of hack. Even last night his ping stayed well into the 160's and it was though it was 10. I don't know him personally so maybe someone can shed some light on this deal. I'm NOT buying that he "is just a good pilot" even if you are sleeping with him. No offense but something is amiss...I just don't know what.

sometimes really high pings are wacky.....meaning you ll get kills that will even surprise you. They should be misses but you get kill. so you learn to find that sweet spot and take advantage of the wacky ping.

remember what swoopin is? thats what most do.....fly high and dive bomb. I ve even heard of guys runing dual vid cards so one monitor has your aft view running all the time.....your always gonna know. not to mention that pesky gaydar.....thats the real culprit...

SC is a legit player. Hell, I believe he has some Youtube videos floating around somewhere if you want proof he doesn't hack (even though some people don't buy that as evidence *cough cough*). He is certainly not even close to the best but he is good.

I don't get why it is so hard for people to fathom that some players can be THAT good. It's like a disease. One person cries 'hacks' then everyone else wants to jump on board and do the same thing for the next best player. Sheesh.

And the whole thing about high ping players exploiting their high ping...that's like saying a person in a wheelchair exploits his disability in a 100m dash lol. Just because someone has high ping it doesn't make them any harder to hit, more accurate, or any sort of advantage at all. I realize it's only a game but the credulity and ignorance baffles me. I hope this doesn't translate into real world applications. Wait...yes it does...the upcoming election is a prime example.

So assuming ( ofcourse ), your a legit player aswell. (just very skilled).
Why is it then you get a kick out of beating up on lesser skilled players? Following your logic, wouldn't it be more saticefying, challenging for you to move up? A pro league of some kind, or perhaps a new game where you can excel, transcend your current level? Yes.. I understand bf42 is unique and fun in it's gameplay, but still... It has to be boring being that "good"..

If a major is overqualified for his position in the town he is located, perhaps he should aim for a bigger position where he can do more good.

I'm not saying your cheating, never have. Just found your gameplay suspecious, that's all.

Opus, I don't get a 'kick' or intentionally 'beat up' other players. I play because it's FUN. Plus, I'm on one or two days a month - if that.

A league? If you knew anything about that then you'd know that organized competition for DC has been gone since the release of BF2. There were some old school 42 matches organized 3 or 4 years ago, but that too is gone.

A new game? I have played/competed in other games like BF2, TF2, and COD4 at a high level. Competition for those games are dead also. Not to mention the replay value on those games are not even comparable to 42/DC. My computer is coming up on 9 years old and can barely handle COD4. Plus, I have no desire to give my money to these companies that produce a half-ass, console port every 6 months. The new games suck, IMO. It's all about unlocks and rankings - stuff I do not care about. I play the game for fun.

Perhaps that major could move, but maybe he is bound to his town by some underlying circumstances or he just loves his hometown and doesn't want to leave.
