so stu was telling me about his duck season and i found this on my pc. its my bro in law luke with a wild cat we shot and boy did tom jump high :)

its called a wild cat that was domestic and gone ferral, or been born ferral .. basically they kill native bird and lizard species so we are allowed to shoot them,, If a cow escapes a paddock and has no ear tag we can shoot them also, same goes for sheep goats etc..

oh we also kill lots and lots of canadian geese also Stu and i were talking about this yesterday. they are also pest and can be hunted 24/7 365 days a year...




and paradise ducks or shell ducks, i love to duck/goose hunt im sorry :(

Aaaah the very aggressive and dangerous cow. So fleet footed, very hard to get a bead on. Especially when they're feeding. Never interrupt the deadly cow when it's feeding. You may pay with your life. Jk I watch enough discovery channel to know what feral animals like cats and cane toads do down under so I don't blame the gubbimint for letting you guys have at them.

LOL Bob yeh them cows dead nasty they suck your blood at night etc etc, oh wait thats bats :)

there is even a parrot we can shoot as its a captive parrot that escaped and also causes havok on our wildlife. We also have possum that we shoot also. in aussie they are protected but here we swerve to run them over :)

Cow's that have wondered out of the paddock with no ear tag
Sheep as above
wild cats
wild parrot but not kia :)
Pigs
rabbits
Canbadian geese all year round
ferrel geese all year round
paradise ducks when in season
mallards when in season
swans as above
think theres more but of the top of my head not sure
pig dogs if they scare of the beasts on a pvt block .
ummm think that is nearly it

Well as long as they are put to good use I say....
Would love to try some kind of hunting. I live in the big city (Chicago) and the only thing legal here is rodents and roaches... LOL

Interesting read there RFA. I love reading the debates at the bottom. I really liked the part where the one guy or woman (PW) was placing most of the blame on humans NOT the cats themselves. Which is the same problem we had here when domesticated cats were let loose by there owners.
