I know alot about metal.....and there is ALOT to know.....stuff you can't learn from books, videos, pics..etc. etc.

Letting us know what you are trying to do will help me get ya going in the right direction.

Got it figured out, thx for your help, I was in a debate on if brass was copper and zinc or copper and tin. I was right copper and zinc.

Yup :D Bronze is copper and tin (or a mix of other alloys)

Thanks for the science lesson! But, Damn. Awful late in my life to only now discover that my balls are bronze and not brass.

Me, waiting for rude comments that I am old enough to be from the Bronze Age.

They may have added a little potassium nitrate to your bronze mixture.....look it up ya'll, then you'll laugh. Sarge used a two dollar word.
