Here is the Reason I have been out the lastfew weeks. lower bump is end of bone just under skin.
broke both bones, tibila & fibula . they installed a rod and 3 screws in it. will be back up and playing soon now that I am home. but can only be up short stints.

if this should ever happen again. I wish to send Sarge or Nighty in to the surgery as my replacement, and they can return leg to me when it is healed

I have these deals whene I stretch hard, legs, arms, and what not get twitching around like a puppet on a string causing me to (as my daughter says) "wobble about". I put a hand up and grabbed a pipe just over my head this time, and then it was flailing not wobbling, then a bigg snap and was out. had to drag my self back to the computer room and call 911. loads of fun. The day after surgery I stopped doing the breathing thing , due to morphine and anethesia. (first thing I thought when they told me what had happened was "Sarge is goon be pissed he wasn't here to watch".)any way thats pretty much the brunt of it . I cann't put any wieght on the leg till sometime in October. but get lots of medication that makes me even stranger than before. (didn't think that was possible either). in the meanwhile I get to spend more time up on crutches so I can get on computer once in a while. I am looking forward to a lil DC action soon. then we will see if drugs make my playing worse. look forward to chattin and getting killed by you soon.

I would be glad Sarge was not there, hell he would have probably helped you hit the floor and then went right back to honing out the #3 cylinder of his 400 small block.

This ought to be interesting though in game and on TS, you and Sarge both medicated ... sheesh. Better TS though that in game chat as he sucks at typing when he is tweaked out on his meds. I hope you are better. Good to hear you are OK though bud. That is some scary shit.

Wife just paused as she was waling by and read the posts on this thread. she has officialy decared that we are all just sick..sick and so very wrong. I told her thank you . we all do our best

A number of people have asked why I am not in a plaster cast. The rod and screws hold the bone together fairly solidly. However I can’t put any weight on it to allow the bone heal around the rod. Also they opened up the knee so they could drill down the bone for the rod, and that has to heal before I can place weight on it. But the incisions need to checked and the whole thing monitored during that time as well, especially for signs of infection. Not to mention this little jewel that I woke up to about 9 days after surgery. Talk about a heck of a thing to wake up to .(I wasn't going post this pic. but it expains it in a very stark manner.)
