This damn thread had me on the single player side to start practicing. Vehicle blasting is getting better. But helo mano helo, I should just roll down the window and spit at them. It gave me a headache. I'll just be a gunner. Lol.If we could get the Herc to hover.....hmmm.

Lol. The Herc (Hercules) is the C-130's nickname. I believe the blue spawn help is the Sea Stallion unless its in a beautiful green paint scheme then it was the Jolly Green Giant.

unlike most things in life, if you have a little guidance the learning curve is a whole lot easier and fun, if you 1 vs 1 zanshin whom has been playing for close to ten years ya hes gonna kick your butt so go where he is not lol, gunning is fun too but most gunners expect the pilot to do what they want and we see much more than you as a gunner...hey sometimes i need a ground support to take a flag

you can get on ts and i can answer any questions or i can give you pointers when its not a full server to speed things along....dont worry i really want more guys in helos....remember i got tarred and feathered for a long time before i was effective...

I can make a harrier video ;)
Allthough it might make me more vunerable, as I am revealing "secrets" - BUT in the end all worth it. More fun!

As some might know, I am a Senior Game Admin at Moongamers. I've started several projects over there, which is still in progress.

1. The CO42 - Class Of 42. Basically a school, with some of the best we could find in the community teaching newbies and regs. That is for BF42.
2. I am also working to publish a series of "Handbooks" for BF42. Walkthrough of weapons, viecles, tactics, strategy, damage specs.. and so much more. (For each. Axis, Japanese, Allied, etc.. )

It could be interesting to copy some of these concepts over to DC. Granted, we aren't that many left playing. But with origin added, there is a real chance of growth again. Which is why I got involved with moongamers in the first place, to help the BF42 community grow.

I could start work on a DC handbook. Published in PDF and flipping book (flash).

I could NEVER figure out the bombing in DC, like in the harrier, A10s or the Frog. I saw guys like Spec and OTH killing stuff when I could barely see them. I always wanted to learn the trick to aiming the bombs, especially at speed or from high up.

One way to get better bombing, is to start practicing when your in the bathroom.
That's how I realized my talent.....

Picturing someone practicing the A10 high-altitude bomb-release-and-swoop by swinging full circles on their shower curtain rod like a gymnast bar and landing the duce into the commode on the other side of the room.

Whoops, thread gone horribly off-topic. What I meant to say was, "If someone could film that, we could add it to the How To Guide."

I have tried this so called bathroom technique. Only one time did the practice run afoul. I was standing on the toilet seat dropping my cluster bombs, but as soon as I went into vertical hover with a banking maneuver. I slipped taking down the shower curtain the sudden shift in direction made trigger finger apply pressure and sprayed my wife with urine. Good thing she was already wet.

True story.

you guys have been playing long enough to know what an unfair advantage is!
I am not holding your hand in what is...if your scoring unreasonable levels with tactics that are unfair then you will be banned.. stop looking for ways to make your score look better like rpg a plane is really cool but hiding in places are not.

How to improve your gaming skill in Battlefield 1942

So you're having problem with your aim?

Answer:

Always aim for head. Don't spray, 3 shot burst are good *only spray when needed or an enemy is right up close. Take your time, just because its a semi-fast paced game doesn't mean you have to rush yourself *this is a big (NO NO). Why? because if you rush yourself your reaction timing will be off, you can't spot as much and you're unprepared.

How to improve my accuracy?

Answer: This is very common with most BF1942 players they can aim yet when the heat is on they get nervous and the accuracy is gone. This must be fixed.

How?

Change your crosshair color everyday from red one day to green another day, this will make your eyes focus more on your crosshair and therefore your accuracy improves. Some people will have better accuracy with a different color crosshair than default yellow due to your eye reacting better with its transition. Green color is a good choice has good visibility on most surfaces.
