Map Changes/Completed Mods

Hi all,

I just want to create a place to announce any map changes made, rather than create separate threads to be lost.
I do request that if you have suggestions for changes, you please use the appropriate thread "Mod Requests".

The intent of this thread is simply to announce and receive mod specific feedback.

Docks CQ:
- Added carbomb to lada.

Docks CTF:
- Added lada to blue beach spawn.
- Added carbomb to ladas.
- Moved 50 cals from island to the SE and SW portions of the map. No more swimming, but I'll let you guys find them.
- Moved LCVPs. One is now in the water behind both warehouses. One is still at the island for any chump who goes swimming.

Good stuff hairy! Im in the process of moving but Caen CTF, Dustbowl CTF and Aberdeen Helo CTF should all be done within a month or so. I’ll have some free time when we settle out West.

Since enough have seen it now...

Co-op
- Changed bot names to reflect our player base. This was my way of honoring Patches by "bringing him back into the game".
Working on cleaning up the names a bit, but the base is there.

Hairy don’t know if I’ve told you, but the bot names idea was a good one.

I think we should ssm some cq coop maps, I figured out how to get first light with bots and twin rivers, so we could have like 10-15 bots a side and then a lower player count and still play the map. Dunno if they would like that..

Yea the Bot names is a great idea and I realy respect the way you honor our friend Patches this way :')

You know what we should do?
Do a SSM on the CTF version of Al Nas and make it so that one bot is joined (I beleive this is possible even without COOP gamemode) and have only the player-name Patches available for bots at that time, then: maybe modify the bot AI to let him use C4-explosives only, and have the bot "paths" for that map run up to the top of buildings so the Patches -bot throws down C4 like he allways did :D

Bit over the top (pun) perhaps, but would be fun, no?

Okay Just finished.

DC Bridge CTF SSM.

-Added 2 DPV's per side.

-a Blackhawk to each side

- 5 weapon walls on each side of the river, 10 total.

-8, 50 cal sniper spawners hidden throughout the map, 2 obvious spawns at each main flag, others spread out.

- 50 cal machine guns, 2 at main river bridge, 2 facing main river bridge, and one per side watching each main.

- Added Paradrop spawn as an offensive spawn point for both teams, Bridge CTF usually never has much offense because it's sniper heaven. This will allow a Coastal CTF feel.

Should make Bridge a more popular map, since usually no one wants to play it except a handful of people.
