There seems to be some renewed interest in how to dog fight in jets.
I have gone back through some old threads in the forum and have found two links that have the most information as well as priceless videos.
I believe the only player in these posts that still occasionally shows up here is JAGD Turkey.
During this time period, I had moved to fly helos exclusively but have flown against all of these players. A player designated as SC is mentioned in a post and is referring to Southern Cross. I believe he was from Brazil if I'm not mistaken.

Raptor 22 (do a barrel roll)...that name is a taunt btw, was the best jet pilot I've met in this game imho.
There were a few exceptional pilots in the whole of this game. Most were average like myself.

As I mentioned to Sanchez, who asked for some how-to advice a while back, the biggest take-away you will get is how important the proper alt views are. In addition to that, don't quit the fight.

I hope that those interested get something out of these great posts and videos of the past.

do you remember Esko (i think his name was ) he wasnt bad at flying either...i recall those days when you hoped at least one of those guys were on your team, otherwise no one wanted to venture up in a plane lol

Good call Dem...he was from Japan...my bad.
I think the only reason I could beat him more often than not was due to the ping difference.
If it were helos, the ping wouldn't matter, but definitely so in jets.
