Honor & Respect

Post by tonawandares »

I realize that most Americans will enjoy this weekend with family and friends over parades, bbq, outdoor fun, and relaxation and that is all well and good for us...we need this.

But for a moment in time, I ask that you reflect...for a moment in time, appreciate...for a moment in time, honor...for a moment in time, respect...but for a moment in time, give thanks to those who are no longer with us whose sacrifice of life granted you this moment in time to live free.
For almost 250 years, brave and courageous men and women were thinking of their God, their families, and their Country.
In one brief moment, they gave everything. They all deserve this Day of Memory...This Memorial Day.
It's just a moment in time...

Simple Respect for soldiers that do above and beyond for no glory.
Just a mission well done.

RIP Dad
WWII
Purple heart
3 Bronze Stars
and carrying German hand grenade fragments in his spine and hip. Never slowed him down as a prefect Dad.
