Since I'm an old fart, and was a Kennedy fan as a 60's kid I'll share this. There was a song released in 1966 called, "History Repeats Itself." It made the top 50 that year. Here's the lyrics and link to the song:

I don't think there's a time corollary that works on Obama based on past presidentail assinations. Garfield was 1881, and McKinley 1901.
