Rick kicked me once too a long time ago for ignoring admin requests (I just didn't see them). I came back, apologized, and kept playing and we have always been buds since. Really, YOU determine the outcome of this Hav3n. You can choose to humble yourself, try to keep things cool with everyone here, and try to avoid trouble. You have the option to take it like a man and be the better man. You can also choose to insist on your own way, be loud and belligerent, berate anyone you don't agree with, and generally be an asshole (that's what I've come to expect from you based on past experience).

The first choice can be tough sometimes because you have to let go and move on but its worth it in the end. I can honestly say that I don't have problems with anyone that plays on this server regularly. Yall are my buds and I enjoy my time here a lot.

If you have an issue with one admin, you should pm him/her about it. I've known Rick for a long time and if you came to him trying to work something out instead of forcing your own way, he would be cool with you. Posting this crap on here Hav3n is really annoying because you're trying to get out of doing something that all of us have had to do at one time or another (some of us more than once). Nobody wants to hear it and you're only creating more trouble for yourself in the future.

I always enjoy playing when ricks on, he does a good job.

If you have any problems with the way he admin you should have emailed a senior admin not launched a public offensive on the forums. I would be suprised if you got any support here.

I was there last nite when you got banned Haven. I tried to calm you down and tell you to focus on the problem (if someone is camping say who and say when). Instead all you did is to call Rick out for literally no reason other than the fact you were sore after your ban.

There are chat logs on the server, admins can look them up. Your first sentence was like "So you can ban me for 3 days for no reason but when there are real cheaters (campers) around you do nothing". If thats not opening with an attack then I donno what to say. You not only asked for it, you were not stopping not only after being told to do so by an admin, but by numerous players as well (me amongst others). Forums are for ranting, game is for playing. Your ranting there totally ruined the game for me, so much I had to disconnect after.

I like you Haven, I think you're a good player but you're badly in wrong here. And just now I heard Rick lost his admin over that^^ last nite .. cant believe it. I've seen admins ban for far less than what you did last nite, and that Rick wouldnt get the backing of his fellow admins rather get the boot .. Im sorry, but its a big fail. I can only hope they reconsider this decision.

No actually, he never did post the logs. If you review that thread, you'll note that I contested his accusations to which he never responded. All the admins just backed him up. The facts lose...but those never seemed to matter to Petko, he is an admin. "Know your place."

Point here is, Petko, represents the epitome of an adolescent summer camp counselor who is given authority over kids. The kind that obnoxiously demands you respect his power because he is wields the "counselor" title. BUT dammit man, only recently we had a lil talk about your 'ways' and i told you point blank you are one of the worst offending regs when no admin are on.
you were kicked/banned for tk'ing and getting a minus score to which you said :" I admit I'm in the wrong with stupid TKs or suicides when I get peeved but a warning would be cool and I think I've learned my lesson so to speak."

well you didnt/havent because you do this crap when no admins are on, but you can question why an admin wont take care of matters when REAL campers/cheaters come on the server (not implying you are a cheater...but camping...we both know you have done it from time to time when no admin are around)

its no ones place to question whether a perma ban is just or not....but Hav3n, you need to take a look at your own actions and ask yourself 'do i contribute to my own situation , or i am just a poor sob who is a targeted by admin'.

Haven you and I got no problemo. I feel your competitiveness when it comes to the game and I very much hold the same opinions as you when it comes to things like team work in this game. The difference is, I don't constantly voice them and I don't constantly treat other players like total crap. Dude you do this... a lot...

If there was a problem with another player being a tard and TKing, report the problem, take a screeny, and post in the forums. But never ever disrespect the admin. EVEN IF YOU DISAGREE!!!

The problem is not with Rick. It is with you and your perception of "justice and fair play". I got news for you, there is no such thing as "justice and fair play" in this game and in life. You do your best, compete and let the results fall where they may.

hey Haven i feel you're pain and anger, but at the same time a public forum isnt the place to voice youre opinions about an admin. I havent seen rick petko playing in atleast 2 months and when i did see him playing it was under a random alias hes always treated me fairly and i have a good time playing with him but if i had a problem with rick petko i would PM specialist or swanny rather than make a topic like this.

Haven I have no problem with you as a player..good competition and team work makes a fun game...both of which you have done consistently.

But as others have stated who are not admins you can also be disruptive. I know I have had to kick you before and you will not hesitate to let others know about your displeasure of being disciplined...nobody cares, get over it.

You have been playing this server long enough to know how it operates.

We have admins...they are not perfect, and they are not on 100% of the day.. but in my opinion they are pretty damn good at doing what needs to be done to keep good players coming back and try to maintain a balance and make it fun for everyone.

I appreciate you all commenting about me losing my cool. I recognize that. I know I need to follow your advice better. But let me pose this, at what point do admins also need to not "lose their cool?" In dealing with Petko in only 2 very brief exchanges, I've found our temperaments quite similar. Can you guys imagine me being an admin? Well, you have it in Petko perhaps. The disparity between the respect he shows other players and the respect he demands is profound.

To ignore Petko's obnoxious manner and the way he incites a reaction? I will not. Perhaps you guys can. I don't excuse myself entirely. But to excuse Petko from playing any part, is to ignore reality.

Admins deserve our deepest respect ... They sacrifice there game play to provide us a FREE, and even balanced gaming experience. They are human prone to error for sure and I certainly don't think I ever deserved a kick or a ban .. altho I always understand their point... and yes I was banned once by LBM ... but that's what the unban request area is for ... These guys are more than generous with their unbanning ... its the repeated breaches of law that gets players perma banned usually for overall nastiness! Usually the admins are trying to get your attention and there is a certain "higher" level of play that they expect of regulars ...

Haven ...Hey bud listen ... As you may have seen .. Rick and I had a disagreement not to long ago. I think he can see where I thought one thing and I can see where he thought another .... I will not say one or the other was right or wrong as I think we both can understand that there was a misunderstanding and actions were taken on both sides. I can also understand where you can get mad when a judgment is made against you and you feel it was wrong and feel the need to lash out. But ... There is a way to do it. I don't know what happen so I am not going to take sides on this as I was not there and haven't had the chance to play with you very much. But as you can see in my other post I will not tell you that being an admin is easy. They have alot to look at while trying to enjoy the game at the same time. I do see you on here and there but, those times I have not seen you being too harsh just one of the few people that I have noticed that talk alot of shit while in the game. But that is to be expected to me when you put all kind of people in a competitive atmosphere. Now I will say I think you also and I say "you" as in the people that talk trash the whole time need to realize there are alot of us that this is our kind of get away from the normal workday. We don't want to hear alot of BS when we come on. (Ex. name-calling, whining, taunting with the intent to piss someone off)Just have a good game and yes cut up some but not to an extreme. I promise you what I have seen of you I don't have a problem. But there obviously is something that YOU can change as the majority feels that you bring the attitude of the game down. I don't know but it sounds like you got a perma ban and I am sure those will take a lot of thought to revoke but I am sure this isn't the first time something like this has happened with a group this big. Even tempered? Set off by 1 mild insult by me. Jokes around with regulars? Yeah, those that don't dare to question him. COOL headed? Permanent ban for trading comments? Ask him yourself for whatever was so egregious to permanently ban someone from the server...and no, not how "he took it." Ask for the logs. He'd never post them because they'd show how overhanded and not "cool headed" he is.
