It seems I was kicked from your server for using map exploits, which to be honest I have no idea how to initiate or use them.
I have noticed several strange things that happen during game play - Sometimes in a tank the machine gun will continuously fire. In a bradley or bmp the rockets fire by themselves. There is also a particularly annoying spot next to pill boxes in Omaha where you can get stuck and can not get free!? I can assure you I am doing nothing to make this happen. I am playing on a mac, I don't think this would have anything to do with it but the more feedback we can give the better the game will be for us all. I have enjoyed playing on your server for a while without incident but recently I was banned by Aids for firing while he was on the runway, that was intentional (apologies again!). I have played other servers where uncaps are fair game. But your rules clearly state "no attacks on uncaps" - so this is my bad and I did apologize at the time, and have played since. Thanks for letting me have my say.

You were playing Omaha beach as red.....you were launching mortars from trench of middle flag. You were BELOW the trench.

That is a glitch.

I know there are places where you can get "stuck" in certain maps, including the ones you mentioned..but for the most part you get there accidentally AND you can't really do anything anyway. Getting stuck in the container on docks happens almost every game...but you can't cause any harm to anyone and you can't hold a flag.

The reason I banned you for a week without any warning is:

A) you have played this server long enough to know how we operate because I have seen you around.

B) The only way to get where you were was to set a mortar there as far as I know..which would not be accidental. In addition you were firing that mortar at the top and should have been able to see that you were in a place that gave you a distinct advantage. You can shoot out and hold flag and not be harmed.

Unless you have a better explanation or someone can convince me that you could do that accidentally then your ban stays.

I placed the mortar in the trench floor because it seemed like a good protected place to fire from (rather
than in the open, where I would have been a sitting duck). I had actually placed the mortar in another
location on the trench floor without sinking and was killed. When I spawned I placed the mortar where the
glitch was without knowing it was going to sink through the floor! So in my opinion it was accidental.
I also believe I was killed before being kicked, so I could definitely be harmed.

I have played the server for a while and have no record of glitching or disruptive play.

All I can tell you is my point of view, and I wouldn't take any satisfaction looking at my score (which is not always that high)
knowing I got there cheating. Believe me or not it was unintentional.

I did not see your post in the other forum until after I posted my reply here. You seem like you made a genuine mistake and were not there intentionally.

Sorry for the confusion, I only call them like I see them and as someone said in the other thread it's kind of a popular exploit so it has to be dealt with often.

I will go ahead and lift your ban.

Toolman, thanks for the unban. I appreciate the Admins weeding out all the
wankers that just want to disrupt a game. You did what you felt necessary,
and I'm sure you deal with a lot of idiots.
If I get that sinking feeling again I'll just hit the C key!

I read that you game on a mac. If you have the mac extended keyboard, "Group Hug" is assigned to key F15. After activating that key, the password to enter the group is Baldrick.
