Can't connect, getting insta-kicked

Hi,

I can't connect to the server, it just kicks me before loading the map. "Kicked From Server".

Why is this? What do I do? I didn't do anything to get banned in fact the last time I played me and Offthehook pwned Inshallah Valley twice and I logged off before Weapon Bunkers started.

I still am not seeing your name/keyhash in our ban logs. If you are being kicked, it is not on our end, try uninstalling and reinstalling PB. If that does not work, try a fresh install of BF.

I uninstalled and reinstalled BF1942 and DC, and still having the same problem. But this is not the only problem, last night I realized that I can connect to other servers, but when I join I'm one of the only players in the game if not the only one, when there should be 40+ players. So it's probably a problem with my internet connection or ISP or something, but I don't know.

I tried port forwarding with my router, and allowing the application with Norton Internet Security, and even tried disabling the firewall and Norton and still the same problems. WTF is going on? I tried googling everything I could think of and can't find any information or anyone else with this problem. I don't understand, I didn't change anything since the last time I played.

Any suggestions?

I'm out of ideas on WTF to do, except for quitting the game entirely which hopefully isn't my only option.

Try going into a different server... this happened to someone else not too long ago..if I recall correctly, PB/EA banned his CD Key for either being a Hacker, Cheater or because it's an invalid CD Key.

If you get the same problem on all servers, you're screwed.

I also checked on PunksBusted and nothing is showing up under his GUID. You may want to try going to your local Walmart, Target, etc and picking up a new version for about 10-15 dollars and reinstalling fresh and with a new CD key.

Read my posts before replying. I said in my last post I have tried to connect to other servers already and have an issue, but DC Fan Favorites is the only server that kicks me before connecting. On the other servers there just isn't many players in them. Besides DC Fan Favorites is the only low ping DC server with a map rotation, if I can't play on this server I won't play the game at all, or I would just buy my own server.

I would have guessed you were missing a patch and had a different version, I don't know though. Have you tried connecting from outside your router/firewall to see if removing the intermediate devices help? If you have DSL you'll need to set up a connection in XP or Vista but it shouldn't be too difficult. If you have cable and they remember your MAC address you might need to have them help, and if your router/firewall was provided by your ISP and has an integrated modem that might not be an option at all.

Do you have another computer you could use from the same place to test? Install BF temporarily just to see if you can connect. That's another option to help troubleshoot.

There may be a log or something about that would help but I'm afraid I don't know where. Is PB turned on and updated?

Hey, is it just me, or did x100xPercent's problems connecting begin immediately after posting all those high score screenshots? Hmmmm..... I'd look to all the folks that were owned by him on those maps as the likely culprits! ;-)

Kinda late to post this, but for reference I had to buy a new game and reinstall with a new CD key to fix the issue. I still don't know what happened or how else it could have been resolved.
